Sealed road, 2mins north of Tutukaka. Beaware that people live on this road too, so watch your speed. Big grass carpark at the end.( Lock your car and take / hide any valuables ), views out to the Pacific Ocean.

Definitely go and check out the island. The beach that connects land to the island is surreal and has coasts on both sides.

Remember to wear good footwear, as the paths are muddy in winter. Also remember your bathers if you get the tide wrong!
