Helen is absolutely amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed she is great with children and babies the kids love her. She directs you if your like me and had no idea what you are doing. Great communication and beautiful photographs 100% would recommend to anyone!

Helen has done two lots of portraits for us now over the years and her work is just WOW WOW WOW. She has such an eye for great photography and has created some breathtaking images for us which we just love! She has truly captured exactly what we were after - but better! Words can't even describe how incredible Helen is! Right from get go we knew she was the photographer for us, the first meeting what just like we were sitting down with a friend and then on the wedding day she made us feel like celebrities and then we received the photos and they were next level! We now are luckily enough to get her to photograph our beautiful baby boy as he grows month by month.

Helen photographed our wedding on 12/04/2017 and we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Despite the wet weather on the day Helen and her second photographer Steve came up with some really great ideas to utilize the limited dry spaces we had available. Helen was an absolute dream to work with, my husband and I were living in Perth prior to getting married and she made it so easy for us, regular emails and meeting up with us when we were in NZ. The photos are absolutely beautiful and we are so happy, thanks again Helen! X

I took my daughter to Helen at Valley Studios last year for her first ever portrait at 3 years old. My daughter was extremely shy so I wasn’t sure how she would go. When we walked into Valley Studios, we were greeted immediately and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Helen was patient with our shy girl and even managed to get her to sit and take a beautiful portrait (our girl was so comfortable she wanted to sit and take more photos lol). Since then, we have gone back to Helen for two more portraits, my girl’s smile bigger each time. Helen was amazing when I wanted to capture some images of my daughter when she turned 10 as she is growing so fast. Our beautiful shy daughter was not the most interested or engaged subject by a long way. Helen was infinitely patient, kind and understanding and managed to capture her at her essence. She took a face that I love and turned it into art. Real, truthful, beautiful art.

I cannot recommend Helen at valley studios enough. Helen and Jenny were the photographers at our wedding and I could not have asked for more. Lots of contact before and after the day which I appreciated. Helen was professional and knowledgeable. She helped keep everything running smoothly and she was great with the kids as well. The photos were stunning and captured our day perfectly. The quality of the materials used for our album is great. Would definitely use again.
