Studio Bibi

Bibi is a super nice person. I had a great time hanging out with her - I did a closet detox and a personal shopping session with her over two different days.Bibi gave me some great rules to remember about lengths of clothes (e.g. tops and trousers) for my size and shape, and she made me realise that I didn’t need to lose 5 kilos to look better in clothes.She also made me realise that often by trying to hide the parts of our bodies we don’t like we sub-optimise our look!I am really happy with the service that Bibi provides and I would recommend it to someone who is looking for a refresh on their look and style.

Bibi was amazing! She helped with my wardrobe purge in a way that was sensitive to the things that were important to me but necessary to relieve me of the burden of 'things'. The best part about it was listening to Bibi think out loud about style and why some things that I thought were my best pieces might not be - conversely, why some pieces I may have overlooked were hidden gems! I learned heaps and, most importantly, had a blast as we were doing it. Wholeheartedly recommend Studio Bibi!!

Working with Bibi was amazing, she really listened and got me and what I wanted to achieve. May 2023 update - after career and lifestyle changes I reached out for a Seasonal Wardrobe update. Bibi has a lovely way about her, she really listened to what I thought I needed and helped me identify gaps in my wardrobe. I love the shopboards Bibi uses - the clothes are categorised and easy to see and compare. My favourite part is where Bibi shows you possible combinations from the different pieces she has selected. Bibi has got me out of my comfort zone with both colour and clothing styles.Bibi is also great at getting the most value out of your money and shares her knowledge on sales and loyalty schemes. During the follow up zoom call I wasn't sure about a jacket and we agreed it wasn't quite right, by that evening Bibi had sent me through a range of alternatives.Bibi's skill is styling but the experience with her is so much more than that, the confidence you get from working with her transfers into far more areas than your wardrobe and she has a knack of making you feel a better version of yourself.October 2021 - I've completed an online styling package with Bibi and I cannot recommend her services enough. Bibi made me comfortable and worked hard to hone my style. I've learnt a lot from Bibi and feel confident shopping, which was something I didn't enjoy. I've also purchased a lot of the pieces she found online for me. Bibi is a delight to work with.

I’ve had the Colour, Shape and Style Session, as well as the Closet Detox, and I have to highly recommend both! During the first session, Bibi showed me how some colours dulled my skin tone, and how others made me look fresh and vibrant. I was surprised at the colours that worked for me – some I’d already been drawn to, and others were totally new for me but looked great.We discussed my body shape, how it has changed over the years, and tricks to balance out my proportions. It turns out that I look better in more fitted garments that show off my best parts, than in looser, shapeless things. I learned a lot from Bibi, and am utilising this knowledge every day.I loved the Closet Detox! I had filled an entire walk-in wardrobe, shelves and drawers, with clothing – including many duplicates. In the mornings I would open my wardrobe, panic at how much was in there, and grab the first items I saw. With Bibi’s invaluable guidance, many items were culled, leaving me with a tidy, ordered wardrobe that’s easy to pick from. I don’t miss a single item, and am left with only things that fit, suit me, and that I really like and feel good in. It was hard work, but I couldn’t have done it on my own. Bibi identified a couple of gaps in my wardrobe, and now that I know what’s missing, I can confidently make choices based on the shape and colour that will suit me best.I went through all kinds of emotions, but Bibi’s kindness, professionalism, knowledge, and patience kept me on track, and we had quite a few laughs as I tried to justify the existence of some true wardrobe horrors! I loved working with Bibi, I felt that she really “got” me, and that she was determined that I never lost my uniqueness. I don’t feel like I’ve been moulded into someone else, just that I am now looking and dressing better while still being 100% me.I have felt like a different, lighter, more organised and confident person since the Colour, Shape and Style Session, and the Closet Detox. I highly recommend that anyone who is struggling to figure out what suits them, who has too many clothes but nothing to wear, who can’t see their own best points, or just needs a nudge to be their very best self, should get in touch with Bibi and wait for the magic to happen!

I had been thinking about getting help with my style for ages, I lacked confidence in my clothes, felt lost and disheartened every time I shopped as I struggled to find outfits that suited me and would get overwhelmed with how to put outfits together. I’m so glad I did get help and so glad it was with Bibi. She made the experience fun, she really listened to my preferences and helped me identify items and colours that would flatter my shape in a simple and understandable way. Bibi was fantastic, she quickly understood my style better than I do, and was able to identify a range of options for me with an impressive hit rate! I found working online better than going shopping with someone, as it was less pressure to buy straight away, and I was able to stop and think about what I really needed. I feel much more confident moving forwards :)
