Scott's Cabin
The cabin has been beaitifully re painted on the outside and I see work had started on the inside too. Very interesting piece of history in a great location. There's a picnic bench and the cabin provides a little shade so a great place to linger with a picnic and admire the view which is ever changing with the weather.

Scott's Cabin
Очень красивое и умиротворенное место. Идеально для передышки, особенно когда начинаешь трек от пляжа. Красиво и спокойно. Можно подняться на крышу.

Scott's Cabin
Historic landmark located at the top of Godley Head with amazing lookout over the Bay, beach park and Taylor’s Mistake. It’s significant part of NZ Antarctic exploration history, built for Captain Scott in UK 1910 shipped to NZ then Antarctica and back to NZ and finally moved to it’s present location after earthquake in 2013. Cabin is accessible either by short 2 min walk from above Godley Head carpark or if you are on the main trail form Taylor’s Mistake it’s about 30-45 minutes hike. For better views climb narrow staircase to the roof of cabin! It’s totally worth it!
