Poor after sales experience. I have had a lot of problems getting things rectified. Seems once they have yr money, goodbye and too bad if its needing fixing. Jacqueline, their first point of contact is incredibly rude and unhelpful

A great builder to deal with when building our GH home including consistently updating on the next step of the construction. Their sales staff, Nicole Jenkins always put on a smile and do her best to resolve any concerns.

They are disrespectful and unable to reason with. Haven’t used them myself but live next door to a home that’s been built by them. Many of our neighbours have had issues with them. Trouble with them trashing our property, double parking on the road, blocking driveways and driving over lawns. They have zero respect for the neighbourhood. When asking them not to, it only made matters worse and grown man acting like stubborn children, acting out of spite.They treated the entire neighbourhood as a building site and we were told to deal with it, rather them respecting the established homes around.

I would not recommend this company. There is a big disconnect between their sales and operations team. Sales team would promise you a lot and later on it will not be delivered. They gave me a fixed price contract and tried changing extra later on. If you contact the sales team they tell you its out of their control. They told me the house will be built in 12 months, its been 13 and there is a lot of work that is incomplete. For a big company like this I would expect higher standards. They have clearly taken on more work than they can handle.

I was very impressed by how good Golden Homes seemed right up until we actually started building. From then on, most of the workmanship seemed poor or rushed without the quality that was promoted. This left the patching and fix ups the the next tradesmen or it's not fixed at all and just covered up. Things have taken months to half a year to get fixed, if at all, and not always fixed right. Communication has been abysmal and difficult at best and was a constant stress for something that should have been part of our dream home. Would not recommend GH to anyone, ever! The sales team was amazing but the building process is definitely not. Project management was a joke and we ended up spending a large amount of our own time sorting things out otherwise we feel we would still be waiting for the house to be finished. I don't write this lightly and try to give the benefit of doubt but cannot in this case.

I've now waited nearly 12 months and nothing has been done on the site yet. They use Covid as an excuse for all the delays. Poor communication. I don't recommend using Golden Homes.

Golden homes have recently built our first home and I cannot think of anyone else in the market who would have given same value for money. The house has come really well and the efforts can be seen from its built.The team at Golden Homes is really awesome and their communication channel is out of the world, which really worked for me.I strongly recommend Golden Homes for your home.

This was our first experience with building our own home and the team at Golden Homes were very professional and helpful throughout the build from start to finish. We were kept updated regularly and if we had any questions or concerns they were immediately answered and resolved. We would particularly like to thank Blake for the professional way he worked with us throughout this process. We would highly recommend Golden Homes if you are looking to build your own home.

The team at Golden Homes Waikato were AMAZING. Very professional, keeping us informed with progress with our new build. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again. Thanks team you ROCK!!

I have to disagree from a previous review that nothing was done for twelve months.It took 12 months from concept to moving in. Kept me informed all the way through the process including invites to meet on-site to look at progress. Thank you Maree and the team at Golden Homes for providing a beautiful home that has turned a dream in to reality.Well done team
