Mercy Hospice Shop, Mt Eden

Could be great, but I think they think it's not a second hand shop... 25± items for too wear I don't think so. Obviously the rent is being paid by a wealthy beneficiary. Very tidy but to small, would feel uncomfortable rummaging.

This is one of the second hand charity store with volunteering staff. I found this shop was kept exceptionally well. All the items are clean, tidy and well labeled. Their items are rather in good quality - from small display stuff to garments and books. The grey haired staff are smiling and welcoming! They also followed the rules of social distancing allowing 4 customers inside as per requirements from the government. Hand sanitizer must be used before entering the store. Good on them!

The items in this op shop are in better condition than at most other op shops, and the shop and clothing don't smell bad either. Sparkling clean and tidy store.

SOOOOOOO OVERPRICED. Totally think the staff there needs to rethink what they're charging. For an op-shop" charging $50 for a Fitbit strap

Fantastic selection of clothes. Best quality charity shop in Auckland. Picked up a gorgeous Susan Miller dress for only $30.

Have been here a few times. Smaller store with some good finds, you have to really get in there to discover some goodies. Feels like you're being watched though so you don't really want to 'mess' anything pr disturb the tidyness.I strongly believe in the Hospice and their services, and support where I can, whether it's donations or purchasing from their stores.A couple of the ladies are pretty snobby. Last time I visited, I wasn't greeted as I walked in. A customer who was dressed-to-the-nines was asked - by short staff member, long dark red/brown hair - if she wanted help, I was completely ignored, maybe it was the fact I was dressed super casual with sneakers. Purchased a pair of shoes, lady at the counter didn't even greet me, was just a, that's $$$ please." What kind of customer service is that? Was my smile too scary? Didn't feel welcomed at all and I won't be returning to a shop with some judgmental staff."

Great shop too. Lovely clothes and well displayed.

Good quality but some steeper than usual pricing. Possibly location is a factor - higher overheads. Friendly service.
