Every time I come with my baby with a fewer - I have to enter at the back to the special “the respiratory cabinet” which has steps and no stroller accessible entrance. It’s really inconvenient and it’s been like that since pandemic started. I imagine that it would be a good thing to fix if cabinet exists for so long.Doctors and nurses have always been polite.

We were able to make an appointment on the same day. And we're seen straight away. Does seem odd that we are asked to wear masks but the admin staff don't. Doctors and nurses do.

Although staff are friendly, I had very unusual experience with the payment system. I went to see a doctor & paid full consultation fee $57 and then another week I went there to get a blood test, and the receptionist tells me I owe them $18 from last time, my consultation was apparently 5 minutes over, and the staff said she does not know why they didn’t tell me last time. it doesn’t make sense to me, but I still paid extra fee, it is unfair for patients and an uncomfortable customer experience. Hopefully they can make some changes in the medical system.

My last visit, some time ago now, was shocking. I was 5 mins early to my scheduled appointment time and waited patiently. 25 minutes later I asked the receptionist what the delay was and was told the Doctor will be ready shortly and ushered through to the nursing waiting area. 10 mins later a nurse walked me to an empty office. 10 mins after that a ladies head peered into the room and I was asked what I wanted, literally verbatim. I explained that I had an appointment and there seemed to be a delay seeing the doctor. The lady then announced she was the doctor and to follow her. As I walked behind her and into the doctors room I asked what the hold up was. The doctor snapped she had been stuck in traffic and then had an emergency with another patient. The doctor was extremely rude and asked me what the problem was. So instead of continuing I suggested that her bedside manner wasn't acceptable and that I'd like to be seen by a different doctor. She said fine and told me to follow her, which I did through to reception where I was left to re-book another appointment.The doctors name was Vivian and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was not rude at all to the receptionists or doctor at any stage.I haven't returned since but there was zero, absolutely zero patient care values from this 'doctor' in particular. It's disappointing we live in a society where businesses fail to monitor their staff and we must post on Goggle Reviews and see if opinions get through to them to action.This review isn't biased against Torbay Medical Centre as a whole, other doctors, nurses have been fantastic overall. Some receptionist appear holier than thou but that's a global thing I've found in waiting rooms.I would not consider returning to Torbay Medical based on this single experience personally and would not recommend them. Steer clear of Vivian though, wherever she may practice.

The care we received when our family had Covid was great. Very caring, thorough and professional. The team is working together really well to support the community through the virus.

Have not seen more unpleasant, grumpy reception staff than this place!!They are quite rude and think they can talk however they feel.All members of my family feel the same way. Even the nurses cannot do a proper job when liaising with test results etc.The reception staff never get it right the first time be it emailing or over the phone.Am only a patient at this clinic as it’s handy for me.The doctors are ok not the best I mean I find a couple of them quite not interested.

I appreciate with doctors and nurses. They are professional, friendly and know what to do. I recommend!HOWEVER, I feel cold" and "in rush" when I talk to the receptionists. It is very difficult to get hold the line most of the times. Called and called and called and don't answer. For a very urgent matter

Doctors and Nurses are great overall.BUT the Receptionists/Admin is absolutely useless.They are rude, unprofessional and miscommunicating w patients on the phone most of time.Can't even reach or book an appointment, as they are just sitting there and busy to chat/talk all the time.Get proper Training SERIOUSLY, and Do some proper work!I can see other people's review, feel the same way.What a shame...

I rang to follow up my prescription meds i ordered the day before. I was telling a certain receptionist ASHLEY" about my purpose of calling and she kept blocking me and didnt want to listen. She finally listened after i made her realize what she was doing to me. She wasn't apologetic. This was not thefirst time i experienced a rude receptionist from this Medical Center. I transferred here because my family live locally. I hope the Center will train their receptionists as this reflect their overall service. Receptionists are the face of the center. They must know what polite and respect mean.Doctors and nurses in general were friendly and attentive
