The pines venue doesn't look that great before it's decorated but once you have the decorations up, fairy lights on, andFlower's beautifully placed it's a really beautiful venue. Especially at sunset

Really nice venue and great view looking out to the ocean. Went there for an end of year Christmas party, this place is a long standing venue that anyone raised in Wellington will have fond memories of. It was great to visit it once again.

The pines has been around for ages, and is definitely the best choice for weddings, family outings and stuff like party’s. I went to a wedding there and it was very, very nice. We had the wedding room then went for food, they have a great selection of food which tastes mouth watering.And for party’s it works out lots, they have a nice little studio area for things like dancing, DJ and lots of things like that. Personally I think The Pines is the best place for big party’s and weddings.10/10

Beautiful venue. The view is amazing and worth it for the sunsets too. An overlooked aspect that was really nice was the side room/green house in the chapel area of the venue. It was very beautiful and added to the atmosphere of the wedding.

Great place to have a party. Wonderful buffet (food is delicious!) and friendly staff. Facility is clean and the views over the south coast are awesome, especially at sunset.

Xmas lunch at the pines. Info sheet said 1 sitting from 12pm. We arrived 15mins early but had extreme difficulty trying to drop our disability passenger at the door due to over crowded car parking. Also arrived to find people already seated and eating. No attempt to organize orderly service just a free for all buffet. It was overcrowded to the point our disability passenger was unable to move between the tables safely. 2 stars because the food was actually nice once you managed to get it, and the two young ladies were very polite and could be seen trying to help if they could.

The Pines is an incredible venue, perfect for the wedding we recently attended. Gorgeous views across the water and the beach. The chapel is perfect for an intimate ceremony and has a lovely greenhouse type attached building filled with gorgeous plants and a wee pond. We also used the main reception space and loved the staff working - wait staff and bar staff. Thank you all for making our night so enjoyable and for working alongside me (as the MC and the awesome DJ - Ben from Total Sound and Lighting). I'll definitely be recommending your venue to other couples getting hitched. ❤️ How incredible is the view?!

Beautiful venue. Very much enjoyed the nibbles as well. The only downside was the limited parking, but the walk wasn't too bad.
