Hosted a long lunch on Sunday for 15 people at SPQR. We had the Bottomless Rose Set menu. Food was beautiful. Service was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. Great value

No, No, No.The place is very nice with great vibe and cute bartenders, and the flavours were amazing - So why not? the portions where tiny , especially if you consider the price. This does not work for me.A main dish with half a chicken breast and one broccolini... starter with 3 miniature scallops...sorry , but no. If you have too much money to spend and not particularly hungry, then it's a grate place for you. I will say that they had one of the best Tiramisu I've ever had :)

Terrible experience! Food took 45 minutes to come out even though the restaurant was half full. We ordered an entree that never arrived. Our main pasta dish came out as a small sized portion but we were charged the price of a large portion. When we tried to clarify this with the waiter, she refused to resolve the situation and gave us no option but to pay for the large size. Won’t be going back!

Everything we ordered tasted great, but the highlight goes to the scampi linguine and tiramisu!Also liked how the focaccia came with multiple sauces and eye fillet carpaccio was topped with truffle oil.Can't forget the great service too!And don't forget a torch if you struggle with seeing in low light...

Lovely place to dine on Ponsonby road. Dimly lit, it provides an intimate dining experience. Standout dishes were the Cajun pizza & Chicken fettuccine. Service with a smile to top it up. Not very pricey so worth a check out. No wonder they have been in business since 1992. All the best SPQR. Cheers to more gr8 meals!.

Another Italian restaurant in Auckland that you must try. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent, with waiters and waitresses regularly replenishing our waters and cocktails without having to ask. The portions were substantial, and the ingredients were of great quality and nicely presented. Highly recommended!

Excellent dining experience. Warm service. Food was great. love the Oven snapper on risotto, love it. Seafood pasta really worth. The sticky date pudding was Excellent. Just wondering why so many cutlery.

Can't say a bad thing about this place. The food is Devine, the service is next level and the overall place is so nice for a fancy dinner out!
