Seemed the only option in town beside Fast Food/takeaway, so I ordered a couple of beers and the smash burguer, staff was very nice, and food came out fast. It was a quiet place to enjoy your food and since I am travelling alone that was the kind of ambient I was looking for. I rate 4 star the food cause the burguer buns (good bread) where small for the amount of ingredients and stuff inside the burguer, So in the end I had to use my fork and knive, otherwise perfect

Great country style pub. Outstanding service, with a sense of humour. We enjoyed our family meal with you. Thank you.

My husband , niece and I were on our way to Dunedin when we decided to stop at a sleepy town, Temuka for lunch. We picked the Jolly Potter. The quirky name took our fancy. I am so glad we went in for lunch. The food was fabulous. It was fresh, yummy and the owners were very friendly. We had fish of the day-pan fried orange roughy on fresh veggies and potatoes, smoked chicken salad and pasta with mushrooms and bacon.

Went in last Saturday, I had the pork belly which was amazing, compliments to the chef. The service was great as it came out quickly and hot and the staff were super sociable and friendly. Love the vibe of the restaurant, feels cosy and calm. Would 100% go back

I bought a takeaway chicken pasta meal, service was quick and the meal was delicious. Serving size was very large. The place was full at 6:45 pm on a Tuesday, you would want to phone in advance.

Last week thought I would check out with some mates since under new management. Wont bother going back to try dinner menu. Overpriced for what you get and don't order the nachos unless your a vegetarian because has no mince just some red beans and avocado and teeny sprinkle of dry cheese/sour cream. OK if your just wanting to have a beer. Staff seemed friendly and atmosphere pleasant.
