Arataki Honey - Visitor Centre
A fantastic place to get your honey fix and find all other things that can be made with honey. There is a honey tasting area where honey changes taste depending on what flowers the bees have been pollinating. The tastes can be quite different to each other.It is also an education centre where everyone including children learn all about bees and how they make wonderful honey. You can see the bees in action and it's a fun game to try and find the Queen bees like Debee.Pricing is fair for the premium products you can buy and the staff are really helpful.

We loved Arataki Honey! They have about 10 different honeys to try, LOTS of wonderful New Zealand products, and a kids play area. I wish I’d bought more because we are loving everything we bought here!

The best place to buy honey in New Zealand! The shop is filled with informative description on the local honey scene. There is two booths for honey tasting available. I personally loved the Clover honey-type. Heaps of merchandise available for sale too. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby.

Love this place! Full of knowledge and bee products. Before shopping, you will feel active in learning about bees and final honey product processing. There are a lot of types of honey. Manuka is what I like, what's yours? Bee venom is popular. Facial cream or moisturizer or other things else. Take your time. I spend about 30 minutes here in this bee's world!

A nice and interactive place learning about beekeeping and honey. A great shop in there too with many different products. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place to visit! You can see bee, beehive and many more. Can get honey ice cream and honey candy, they are yummy. Love the honey there , bought some as souvenir for friends and family :)

Well worth a visit. Videos on honey production etc except on our visit there was no audio which really devalued the visuals. Small gift shop with some innovative honey related items.
