Shredded pork with hot sweet and sour sauce was one of the two dishes ordered for takeaway. Unfortunately found a piece of dangerous foreign item in the dish. Maybe around 0.3cm in length. This shows the lack of hygiene care by the restaurant. Would not recommend due to finding this in my dish.

Amazing place. Nice and tasty food. My always go to place for the best Chinese meals in Christchurch. Beef in Chilli oil is my favorite meal. Daphne is a great host

I liked the food. Not all hit a home run but 3/4 the dishes did. The sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, and beef fried hor fun were good. The one thing that I really didn't like was the wait. Of 4 tables filled, with no more than 4 pax each table, we had to wait half an hour for our dishes to be served. I really wonder how they cope with a restaurant full of customers.

I think we came during the weekend when their main chief is on leave. Knew about this when we wanted to order egg tart and they said the chief is not around. Carrot/radish came very oily. Century egg porridge is quite blend as well. The char shiu Bao is ok. Sesame hall is light and crispy.Local friends who brought us also said that food is different from usual.A lot of the items were sold out or unavailable but they informed us late so we were unable to replace the order before their kitchen stops taking in orders. Sounds like the front of house was in chaos.The lady boss was very apologetic.

Nice food with amazing service. I can't say the food is best( pretty good no problem at all) but I was so pleased the way treat customer here. They are very helpful with the menu and also polite to ask to start to cleaning floor. Because we all finished our meal just talking and having a Chinese tea. Even owner was kind and care good customer service. I was so impressed and felt good. Love to visit again and will try dimsum at lunchtime too.. Recommended Chinese restaurant.

We were there about a week ago. The portions to price ratio was more than fair. Typically, we order three dishes for two people but thought we'd order an extra dish because we were really hungry.Turned out, the extra dish was more than we could eat.I really enjoyed the beef brisket noodle soup as shown in the images. It was $14 and enough to feed two semi-hungry people.It was busy when we arrived for dinner so the service took a little longer than expected. The dishes and came out quick though.
