We visited as a family, loved it. Both Malcom & Ellie are so warm and welcoming. Plus Malcom is an amazing chef. The lodge is right on the edge of a vinyard and has great views. We are looking forward to going back.

If you're thinking of staying here? DO!If you're thinking of eating out while you stay here? DONT!Breckenridge Lodge puts a new name to bed and breakfast. Make sure you don't miss Marcus' 5 course dinner with wine pairing. It's unbelievable! The best dinner I've had in Hawkes Bay.The attention to detail was impeccable. The flavours were exquisite. The hospitality was next level.If you ever get a chance to stay with Marcus and Ellie..do it! It will not be regretted.

Breckenridge Lodge
Tucked outside of the city of Napier is where the Lodge resides. It is decievingly large inside as well as the grounds outside. The views of the vineyards and distant country side are beautiful from every room. The rooms are spacious; individual bathrooms are lovely; service and food are fabulous. You will want your own car or rental to get into town. Even so it's well worth it. Peaceful; places around the lawns to hide away and read or write or meditate. Can't wait to come back!

Amazingly excellent.Malcom and Ellie are warm, friendly, proffessional hosts.attention to detail, food, wow everyone should experience Brackenridge lodge.Even our beautiful fresh flowers were changed twice a day.We would not have changed anything, and hope we have made new friends.Thank you both so very much and louie card and flower. Simply amazing. Malcolm and Ellie will make you feel like the most important person on earth; always available but never in the way. The food....wow. Very hard to describe just how special this place is. Just go visit...whatever the price, you won’t regret it.

Two night stay. Malcolm & Ellie are fantastic hosts friendly & professional. Exquisite dining. We've never had a Michelin Star experience, this MUST come close. Highly recommend
