Flatwhite Waihi Beach
Absolutely LOVED this place. Not only did we get the most amazing food and drinks, the staff were lovely, the view was incredible as your right on the beach, it was just pure heaven. Loads of food to choose from to suit every persons taste, best food and drink ive had in such a long time! Hugely appreciate this place and recommend to all. Will definitely return!!!

Flatwhite Waihi Beach
Stumbled onto this place while walking on the beach - it's in a beautiful spot, right on the waterfront. There are big windows all around so you feel you're still out on the beach which I loved. The service was fine - not great, my server seemed a bit grumpy - but the food was wonderful. I got the waffles with bacon, banana and maple syrup, and it was delicious. My flat white was good too.

good vibes! just anyhow search restaurant in Waihi and I got this wonderful recommendation! Thanks God!lovely people here, good food, and the portion of the food quite big too.Prawn Pizza and the Beach Breakfast both main dishes were kinda my taste!don’t miss out this place! you will regret!

Had the duck leg. The croquettes and duck spring roll were piping hot on the outside and stone cold on the inside.Made aware to the waitress who arranged a replacement which unfortunately came once my partner was finished.These things happen, but the fact at payment they knocked a grand $8.5 off our meal shows what a poor quality resturuant flatwhite is. I don't expect the whole meal for free, but seeing as I had taken a bite of freezing duck and will probably have food poisoning later, its a poor gesture.Obviously won't be returning. Shame as the rest of the food was nice.

This cafe located in front of the beach absolutely amazing view with the fascinating atmosphere. The food we ordered was delicious and also coffee was great too. But the customer service wasn't good. who served us the waitresses was all right other server wasn't. I think the customer service is more important than food quality for the impression of the restaurant to motivate to visit again. But sorry this cafe food and the view was nice but wouldn't want to visit again. Just once is enough. It is a shame.

Came by the night prior and was not able to get a table. Apparently you have to make a reservation. We made a reservation and arrived and found out there was a 15% surcharge for holidays. Food was very good, there are plenty of vegan options on the menu. We had the vegetarian tacos (excellent) and the pumpkin salad which I liked but my partner didn’t care for. Service was good but maybe not as good as it should be for a $125 bill. We were forgotten a few times, we asked about dessert but the server never returned so no review on that. The restaurant wasn’t packed so not sure why. Overall good, if the bill was $80 I would say amazing.

Great spot, wish food was better. Had ceviche tacos which were good, but they needed more filling and some crunch. The fish was really good on the taco. The seafood chowder lacked salt, which you can add on your own, and could have used something to add more flavor. Seafood in it was good. And crusty bread was also good.

I've had the pleasure of shooting several weddings at Flat White Cafe. It's such a stunning location for a wedding, with the ceremony location overlooking beautiful Waihi Beach. There's plenty of epic photo locations close by and the cafe is always nicely styled. Best spot for a beach front wedding in the Bay of Plenty. I'll be honest, it was nice yet ok. Wanted to try the place because of it's beautiful location and just didn't light my fire to want to go back. So many staff, yet nobody checked we were ok and the creamy mushroom dish tasted like mushroom soup out of a tin... Nailed the coffee ☕
