While shopping around in Oamaru’s Victorian Precinct, we popped in here to have lunch after 1 pm on Sunday. No one was welcoming. Seemed very busy as many tables were not cleaned up yet.At the counter, ordered two of Soup of the day, pancakes with bacon&banana and two coffee.Served coffee in 15 minutes and then pancakes. Finally, our soup came out in 35 minutes but not as it should be. As specified in the menu, the soup should come with two cheese rolls but they just put two small slices of plain bread. When I asked about it to the manager or owner (with lots of tattoos), she replied brusquely I should pay more for the cheese rolls.Even after I calmly pointed out what it says on the menu she didn't explain or apologise and just said I should wait long since they‘re busy.I gave it up and was very mad at her dishonest, rude and undesirable attitude.Surely she knew I was a tourist there thus she treated me in such an unpleasant way.Besides, the soup itself was so watery and bland. Coffee was terrible, too. It had burnt taste.Never recommend to anyone.

I am constantly disappointed with mediocre coffee but Casa Mia Espresso did not disappoint. Great flavour. I also had an apricot muffin which was very fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere very comfortable with interesting art on the walls to look at. I highly recommend this cafe.

Nice rustic place. Pretty good food and sweet staff. Bit of a grey dollar place

Town was busy so we walked into a new place for us. We noticed the natural light, plants and nice decour first and then saw the great selection of food in the cabinet and on the menu.Service was friendly, professional and quick, coffee was excellent and then the food that arrived was outstanding. All five meals were delicious and a very good size.We will definitely go back!

A nice cafe along the harbour precinct. Food is OK but a bit pricey for quality and serving size. Atomphere and service is good. Pancakes and eggs bene were ordered and unusually came with sliced raw spring onions, which was odd. Long black coffee was ok. However, the soy flatwhite was not good, and possibly the soy milk needs to be a better quality.

A tall stack of french toast with bacon, banana, & maple syrup for $20. I found it to be very delicious even though the bread used wasn't anything special. The bottom piece was drenched in a pool of pre- poured syrup so thankfully I have a big sweet tooth☺

Came in for a quick brunch and loved everything we’ve ordered. Carrot cake was a bit dry, but still very tasty!
