Okia Reserve is a New Zealand gem! The Pyramids and Victory Beach are stunning. The Yellow-Eyed Penguin Trust and Dunedin City Council do an amazing job maintaining the reserve.

Lovely place for a day mission, lovely tracks and a good beach as well, if you go at low tide , you can see a sunken ship, there's a loop walk with signs telling you about history of the wildlife and area, lovely place to visit with the pyramids as well. Highly recommend!! Sealions are on the beach so plenty of nature to look at.

Two things to share:It’s a good walk from the car park to the reserve’s entrance. This can be challenging for children but the views are absolutely extraordinary.The loop walk leads to beach at two places, but it’s quite difficult to access because of sudden drop. Take care.
