One of my favourite places in Wellington, and definitely my top place/recommendation for noodles. I've always been happy with my food here, no complaints. Just a note, the spice levels here are slightly higher than you might think. I would recommend starting with mild just to gauge the spice levels here. I would say I have average/common spice tolerance, and the Taste of Home Medium level spice is neeeaarrllyyy too spicy for me. It is manageable, but quite spicy. The dan dan noodles are great! You can never go wrong with those! I love the milk buns to finish it off. The taro balls are a new favourite of mine too!

Randomly found out about them on Google maps when searching for places to eat and I'm glad I did! I asked the host for suggestions and they recommended the Yo Po Mian. Flat pulled noodles in a spicy oil with sprouts, veggies and peanuts. It was simple but delicious. The portion size was great and the flavors were wholesome and delicious. Sad that I am only visiting Wellington for 2 days rise I would definitely go back and try other items on their menu.Stay true to your menu and flavors and you will become an iconic place on Wellington's food map.

Ordered the hand pulled noodles in chicken broth on door dash. It was pretty good, broth was delicious and loved all the vegetables. On door dash I had a choice of noodles, I got the rice noodles but next time I think I’ll try it with a different type of noodles as I didn’t enjoy the rice noodles very much. I’ve heard so many good things about this place so I’ll have to give it another go.

great noodles! good to have a hand pulled noodle spot here in wellington. i ordered mild dandan noodles with hand pulled noodles (instead of egg noodles) and removed bean sprouts. as another user said, the spice levels are are quite high so would recommend starting with the no spice or mild options just to gauge ur levels at this restaurant. will be back as hand pulled noodles are one of my fave dishes. dish was very yommy.ps don't wear a white shirt LOL

I love this place so much! My absolute go to when I'm buying lunch. The Yo Po Mian (hot oil noodle) is simple but delicious, I often get the crispy squid added on. I also appreciate that they are a friend of Reusabowl <3

Amazing hand pulled noodles! I had the Dandan noodles with extra braised pork belly and my husband had the wonton in hot and sour broth... We had the milk buns for dessert, they were ridiculously good! Already planning our next trip to Wellington for more!

I was so excited to come here and I’m so glad I did. I ordered their daily special which was vegetarian dumplings in hot sour soup and they were out of hand pulled noodles so I just took whatever the staff recommended. The soup was pretty good but I would’ve loved it to be more sour. The dumplings were great and the small, thin noodles were a good addition. The soup travelled well and remained hot within the container. It cost me $14 which is great value and I can’t wait to come back again and try something different.

Still the best yo po mian I've had. No other eateries come close, and I've been searching hard whilst living abroad... Hand pulled noodles are perfect every time and flavours and spice level are on point. Always add the delicious braised pork. A bit gutted you no longer get egg with it!

We’re very familiar with Asian food (especially noodles) so I have to say that these noodles are wonderful! We ordered the glass noodles, hand-pulled noodles with chicken broth and spam (chose the mildly spicy option) and fried squid. I ate the hand-pulled noodles and found it absolutely delicious. The broth was full of flavour. The noodles were cooked just right so it wasn’t too soft, too chewy or too hard. Really wished we were staying a day longer so I could return to try the spicier options.Suggest adding spam with your noodles if you are not keen for vegetables only.
