Very cool gallery, the Len lye film was good and his artworks were great! Shame they only had three of them though. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit!

Good themed exhibits (although some are too abstract to comprehend). The entry fee is very reasonable.

Fab art gallery that is normally $15 for none locals but because one of the exhibits was closed we paid $10. Not loads of art in here so don’t expect to need hours in here but still worth a visit, the building itself is also stunning and if you’re into architecture you’ll definitely enjoy, great Middle Eastern (I think?) visiting artist whilst we were there

Had a good experience with booking the tickets. Especially enjoyed the Wand Dance kinetic sculpture, was really quite emotive. Staff were also seemed very knowledgeable and happily answered all our queries.

Such an amazing space to be in and to visit. We were there for the newly minted Pacific Art exhibition but also got the opportunity to see the existing exhibitions as well. Only made New Plymouth even more of a find and a great city to visit.

Great gallery shop! Smallish gallery, with elegant exhibitions and a eye catching kinetic display set to go at certain times. Great family activities on a Sunday morning too!

Super friendly staff, interesting exhibits and having the Len Lye film included in the ticket was good. Great building too! Only downside was having to pay as a lot of museums/galleries in NZ are free (but it was worth it in my opinion).

Son, wife and I, we are from Shanghai. Everywhere we go in New Zealand, we visit local art galleries. This is our second visit after two years. I am very touched by New Zealand's appreciation of the diversity of art.The theme exhibition this time is a contemporary art work by a Pakistani Muslim artist.Great job on environmental awareness, aesthetics, taste, and investment in hardware. On the wall of the art gallery, I saw many sponsoring companies and individuals.

No faulting the many staff throughout who were friendly & helpful, but tbh i was very disappointed with what i saw. Vast arrays of open space, many pages on display in Len Lye exhibit but light so low i couldn't read it without straining. Large screens with no explanation to what you were watching. Building very nice tho.
