Atlantis- Escape Mate
We had never tried an Escape Room before, so I was a bit hesitant as I wasn't sure how kid friendly it would be. It turns out all the Escape Mate rooms in Wellington are kid friendly though (they should promote they're not spooky/frightening). We had fun though needed A LOT of help to he successful which we got, but now we get the idea hopefully we'll do a bit better next time

The place is great. The scape room is well designed and built. You will find some puzzles challenging to solve but all of them are interesting. A good place to share with your friends.

Atlantis- Escape Mate
Was so fun! We did it in a group of 12 and was definitely less chaotic than I thought it would be. Staff were friendly and the activity wasn’t too difficult. 10/10 would do it again!

Atlantis- Escape Mate
Recently did the Atlantis escape room with 9 10-year-olds for a birthday party, and the experience was close to perfect. It's hard to manage that many hyped-up kids in one space, all running around trying to solve the puzzles, but the Escape Mate lead did a brilliant job keeping them on track and on time, without being intrusive or overly leading. A minor glitch at the end was handled very well, and a great time was had by all.

One of the best escape rooms we have done. Complex, lots of puzzles. Good theme. My only two comments for future players is we would never have finished with just two people. There was a lot to solve so atleast three is ideal. And if you aren’t familiar with mechanical escape rooms it’s good to know that wiggling things around a bit so magnets and stuff align is essential.

Super excellent. Lots of contraptions and puzzles to figure out.The guy supervising chimed in to give us some hints if we missed anything at the right times so that we didn't get frustrated or bored which I appreciated.And there is a door that can be used anytime to leave if you need a break or the bathroom which was helpful for one member of our group that was nervous about being locked in a room.

Atlantis- Escape Mate
First escape room experience & gave Atlantis a go for a birthday celebration. Oh. Wow. What a blast!! Expected to enjoy it but I was not prepared for how great it would be. Our service was fantastic, he made us feel comfortable, prepared, and excited to take part. The puzzles themselves were brilliant and the design of the room was gorgeous. Brilliantly interactive and a true joy to play. Highly recommend. Can't wait to try another!
