Viking Security Doors and Screens are a fantastic company to deal with. They do a fantastic job by making, suppling and installing Insect screens. Very profesional and so freindly. I would recommend this company whole heartenly.

Very impressed with the workmanship carried out. Fixed problems with the existing door that we weren't aware of and was so very friendly. We were also provided with the many screen options to fit our required needs with the dog, he tends jump up as he is a puppy, so paw proofing was a must. November 2021 - we are in a new house and have just got Viking Security Doors & Screens to do the windows here!4 years ago...We got all of our top windows insect screened and both bathrooms - it makes such a difference to be able to leave the windows open all summer. The house is so much cooler and no insects!We also got a security and insect screen on the front door which we can leave open for a lovely breeze and extra security!"

So I booked an appointment for Viking Security to quote on some fly screens for a rental property in Cambridge. As I was going to be driving down from Auckland, I rang before I left to confirm the appointment. I was advised he might be 10 minutes late.I arrived at the house and waited for the representative to arrive. At 30 minutes delay I rang and was told that he was running late and would be there in 10-15 minutes. At 40 minutes delay I rang again and was told they couldn't get hold of the rep. At 60 minutes late I rang again and they advised they still couldn't get hold of him but knew he would be coming and could I wait just a little longer. At 90 minutes I couldn't even get hold of the office lady. I decided not to wait any longer.My tenant kindly advised she would let the representative in if he did arrive. He turned up something like 2 or 3 hours late. My tenant showed him what we wanted to be done!I thought I would get a call from Viking Security with an apology from the rep and then receive the quote. I recently emailed them to enquire what has happened with this quote. Not only did I not receive an apology, I have never received a reply to my email wondering about the quote. Just disgusting.No one has an issue when things go wrong but own up, apologise, but this behaviour is pure rot. I can only imagine they are starting to go out of business because if this is how they treat their prospective customers I cant imagine they are coping with managing their current customers.My only suggestion is go elsewhere and if they are not going out of business they certainly deserve to.
