Mobile Monk Timaru

Went back the following day after having a screen protector installed on my s23 ultra due to there being a large cluster of dust particles in the center of the screen, 2 small air pockets on the Right and the protector affecting use on the edges. After the lady working tried to convince me that it wasn't a problem when it clearly was an eye saw on a brand new phone. She refused to give refund after persistence but then reluctantly applied a new one then afterwards told me to not come back(that I should go to HN or NL before returning)

Mobile Monk? nah, Mobile Monkeys! Fast Service but Cheap Screens and Big Profits... got my screen replaced ($130) only for it to BREAK IN MY POCKET THE DAY AFTER! I made them aware of the issue straight away and offered to pay more if they ordered in a better screen and replaced it to which they refused. ABUSE OF MONOPOLY, second phone I've had repaired by them and am extremely disappointed, will be traveling to Christchurch with my cash from now on.

My partner paid for my whole screen to be replaced after it was accidentally destroyed a wee while ago. Needed it for work so couldnt wait to send it off to samsung. Went here as it was the only place open and it cost around $600 since its a samsung s20 series and was told to come back the next day as they had to order the screen in. They ordered a black rimmed screen instead of silver (which the original screen had and matches the other parts) that wasnt too much of an issue but I also noticed there was a slight gap on the right side where the screen meets the back of the phone. Then, I'd only had the fixed phone for a week when the screen randomly cracked. Thought I must've knocked it, but when I was looking for another repair place I noticed the reviews about others whose screens also had cracked after being in their pocket and whatnot so decided to make this review to save someone elses pocket.

I have been in twice for battery replacements on different phones and both times, they have broken the glass screen protector and also either the new battery doesn't work or the screen itself now doesn't work. They got all the problems finally fixed after returning multiple times. But I was very unhappy about their service. A battery replace job that was quoted to take 1.5hrs ended up taking the whole day with me running in and out.

I have been into the Store a few times and every time I am greeted with a friendly assistant. Phone repairs for my screen has been great quality and any issue is fixed without any problems, they even assisted with an Apple ID login issue. I highly recommend them for any repairs or tech issues you may have.thank you

I bought 2 phone cases, paid $70 and once I put the phone and normal amount of cards in them they wouldn't stay closed. The magnetic catch isn't even strong enough to keep it closed. It just keeps popping open. I was refused a refund.I hope he enjoys my $70. My loss, his rip-off gain :( The useless phone cases are in the bin. Will never shop at Mobile Monk Timaru ever again.Warning people if you support this business, there is no comeback. You lose your money, and it looks like other people have had the same fate including children.

Awful service! The lady in the store fixed my battery and I came out with none functioning front camera! Refused to refund it because she didn’t fill out the forms she was supposed to and didn’t check it properly. Heard others complain about there service aswell. And on top of that I came out with a broken lcd screen

went in today to get a shattered glass screen and protector fitted. good price,very friendly helpful service and professional job done. thank you guys another happy customer :)

AVOID DEALINGThe team here will not take any accountability on damage to your device under their care.Story- Took my phone in to repair my cracked camera glass. Note: camera worked fine prior - On return an hour later I received my phone back without glass and was told I required a new camera due to dust getting into a lens.I have since found out the lens has a haze to it likely caused from a heat gun being applied over the crack and the heat would've been applied directly to the lens causing damage.Mobile Monk accepts no responsibility, doesn't return calls nor is willing to come up with a repair solution. I want it repaired. I've called 5 times now and returned in store once to show them the damage. They've caused over $500 of damage.Shop at your own risk.- In response to their reply to get my" facts straight:• I do not have a daughter.• Phone was handed in with glass damage. Returned with no glass and damaged camera.•Over $500 is a quote for a authorised samsung dealer to repair my phone because now a camera replacement requires waterproofing the device again.• 30% off what exact price? This is the question I've been asking since the start.•Why am I even paying for damage caused by your techs?All I am wanting is my phone to be returned back to its original condition. Nothing more
