My recent visit to the McDonald’s on Ash Street in Avondale left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The poor service and lack of attention to detail made it a frustrating experience that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone.Firstly, I ordered a Happy Meal for my child, excited for them to enjoy the accompanying toy. However, to my disappointment, the toy was missing from the meal. It may seem like a small oversight, but for a child, that missing toy can make a significant difference in their dining experience. It’s disheartening to see such a basic mistake made in a fast-food establishment known for its consistency.Furthermore, the drive-through experience was exceptionally slow, even though there was no queue. I anticipated a quick and efficient service, given the circumstances. However, I found myself waiting for an excessive amount of time, approximately 20 minutes, just to receive my order. This type of delay is simply unacceptable, especially when there doesn’t appear to be any obvious reason for it.Customer service was also lacking during my visit. The staff seemed disinterested and indifferent to my concerns. When I politely mentioned the missing toy, the response I received was apathetic at best. It’s disheartening to encounter such a lack of care and attentiveness from the employees, leaving customers feeling undervalued and unimportant.Overall, my experience at McDonald’s Ash Street in Avondale was deeply disappointing. The forgetfulness regarding the Happy Meal toy, the excessive wait time, and the lackluster customer service all contributed to a negative impression. I believe that every customer deserves a certain level of quality and attention, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this particular McDonald’s location fell short in meeting those expectations.I hope that McDonald’s Ash Street in Avondale takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance their service and attention to detail. It’s important for a fast-food establishment to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure that every visit is a positive and memorable experience.

0 stars. Drove thru and when I was about to collect my food by the second window, I have asked to pay for my food as I haven't done it yet (no one was at the pay window). Servers then asked me to get out of my car and walk back to the window (something I absolutely did not do). No apologies - just utter rudeness from the servers.

I'm not sure if they were doing a shift change or what,but they kept me waiting for 7 minutes at the drive through window at 11pm, also gave me a sugar Coke when I asked for no sugar. The Mc Donald's app also crashed while I was waiting, further aggravation.

went here for breakfast because I was in a rush to an appointment. was served frozen hot cakes... literally can't exaggerate this enough. very disappointed and was in too much of a rush to turn back and complain.

Used as a drive through for now and then eats and some times a last resort because they open late. Its a busy place as always because its in a suburban area next to the Avondale Sunday Markets and onsite with Z petrol site making this place extremely congested with people and traffic.

Went drive through for breakfast around 6am, was told they weren't taking any orders because they're focusing on deliveries and that they're closed. Now after reading the reviews on this place, it seems to be a common thing to be closed. Doesn't make sense for a '24hour drive through'

Terrible service at this place. Everytime I go through the drive thru I wait for ages to place the order. Then wait even longer to get my food. Only time I don't have to wait is when it is paying time.You can be the only car there in the drive thru and they will STILL make you park your car and wait.Only reason I go back is it is on my way to work and I need a coffee

Was given the wrong burger, took ages to get acknowlegded at the microphone and at the windows. At windows didnt even get a hi. One time a ununiformed guy was vapping out of pay window and took my payment. So unprofessional and slack service. Have not gone back after two times of bad services after being a regular since it opened. What happened to it, it had lovely staff and good service.
