The real deal. Great butchery, my faves are eye fillet and cottage pie. Sadly some of the sausages have preservatives. Mr. Timbs, they aren't necessary, your stuff is so good it gets eaten within 2 days of purchase!

Great meat, expensive. Older Butcher chap at Bishopdale extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, so decided to go to Edgeware shop. The Butcher chap most helpful, shop assistant young lady willing to try.

An absolute must try is their beef brisket lasagne. So so good.And they do a delicious liverwurst which is perfectly paired with a chunk of crusty buttered bread.

A special thank you to staff member Andy! We live in Australia and were not able to get home this Christmas so we arranged a Christmas ham for my Father in Christchurch. Now this butchery has some fabulous cuts of meat and meat dishes. They also sell good pizzas, fish pies plus other assorted fresh small goods.If you want some really nice meat you will get it here. It is wee bit more expensive but it is very good quality. The t-bone steaks are huge; real thick cuts.Car parking is ok although it does get busy and congested in the Edgeware Village area.

One of the, if not the best, butchery in Christchurch. It is also not in a supermarket or mall. The meat always looks brilliant. I only went in today to get some bacon bones but ended up getting a few other edibles ( as you do). It is fair to say my wife was surprised to see me come out so quick as I usually take a lot more time. Great butchers shop.
