My wife and I went to the Talbot for lunch on Sunday 30th December 2018. This is our second visit and like the first, was most enjoyable. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy most tastes. The food was delicious with generous servings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will most certainly be back.

Went as a group of 6. X2 ribs x2 steaks 1 fish n chips and 1 platter. Alot of the platter was soggy. Both steaks were over done and the ribs well.. They are going to have meat in there teeth for days not to mention how horribly the sauce was. Tasted like vinegar did not resemble bourbon whatsoever. Mushroom sauce ruined the steak. Fish n chips was OK.

Average as breakfast only thing good was the store brought hash browns but hey who cant cook them right.. cold bacon that was hardly cooked still pink looking... The poached eggs one was hard the other full of water which made the cold toast soggy cold toast hmm yummy not... Never again...

Great lunch menu. Head chef Annette happy to accommodate. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Highly recommend.

Got the farmhouse breakfast which was below average. The poached eggs were grey looking and had water in them which made the cold toast soggy, 1 egg was hard. The bacon and tomato looked like it was hardly cooked, only a small bit of char. Both the bacon and tomato were cold. The hash browns were nice, for store brought heated up ones. We were the only ones in the restaurant so they could have taken more time and cooked everything right, if they can. I will not be going back again for breakfast. I'm not keen on trying the other meals either after this experience.

Just like to say a big thanks to Rachel and her team for making our night of celebration such a big success. The service and food was impeccable, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night and made comment on how great the food and atmosphere was. This place would have to be the best in my book so go try it for yourself!!!!!!
