I have been to Sweet affairs twice now and each time it has been amazing. Their food is flavourful and does not take long to reach the table. They have a wide range of cocktails that are amazing and beautifully presented and also offer a happy hour from 2pm to 8pm with a range of cocktails for $9. They also offer high quality shisha (hookah) at an affordable price. I really can’t fault this place. The outdoor courtyard is great for casual dining and drinking in the sun but the inside of the restaurant beautifully decorated and intimate making it perfect for fine dining. There is also a cozy cocktail lounge hidden in the back with brick walls and a cellar look. My friends and I ended up spending the whole afternoon and evening in all areas of the restaurant. Their staff are extremely professional and went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I had a great time. I really suggest you check this place out.

Love the food and cocktails here! The red velvet cake and garlic prawn and the guacamole egg roll(sorry forgot the name...... is tasty and a must try!

RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT: wow, it amazes me how you can just lie. We NEVER REPEATED the drink order cause the first round tasted so bad. We also weren't in a group... Also, it doesn't take much common sense to see the difference in the photos.I came here to give my honest review as I always do. After reading the owner's responses to some other low stars reviews, I got kinda scared to be honest. But I do want to share my real experience so the community can make informed decisions.The staff were very nice and attentive and I'm sorry I didn't have the balls to express my opinion to the staff as it wasn't really their fault.The cocktails were nothing like the photos. Even if you say you change your menu regularly, the aesthetic should have the same quality. You will see in my photo that this was not the case. My friend and I ordered two different cocktails and they look the same but different colours. I don't judge a book by its cover but the taste was also below average. I mean for $20, I expected similar quality to caretakers. Caretakers make different cocktails for everyone, yet their aesthetic maintains the same quality.I learnt from my lesson to not be fooled by the photos but to actually read other reviews before visiting first. I do hope that they can use the feedback to improve their business but judging from the previous responses, I don't know if they will.

Lovely German cafe serving delicious creamy coffee and with a selection of German breakfasts. We order a Tradie breakfast, which was fried eggs and Bavarian meatloaf on sourdough, and a Bavarian breakfast, which was weisswurst and bretzel. Both great. German owner/cook certainly helps! The knitting and knitters add to a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Looking forward to going again.

Amazing venue, really cool vibe. Staff are great and good music choice. Food menu was excellent. Huevos rancheros was delicious. Cocktail menu is also extensive. We only went for brunch but definitely going back for dinner and cocktails!

Sweet Affairs is great for a date night. The atmosphere is cozy and the cultural backdrop provides for a unique and interesting night. The drinks are good too!

Went here for lunch, we were severed by the manager who was incredibly friendly, along with the personality of the decor it made a really nice place to come and eat. The food and cocktails were great
