DAMEL Kennels, Runs and Trailers

(21-2-23) After bad review, Damel bloke TURNED UP ON PROPERTY saying they werent going to be badmouthed on this review - he initially claimed to be here to 'fix' the problem (we already told them via txt we fixed them ourself). Was soon clear the reason for visit was to blame us for problems!! We had disengaged with Damel due to dealing with cyclone cleanup.Spent over $5,000 on double kennel for two dogs. Amazing service, poor product. Slats were made too far apart and trapped one dog's leg. Damel says its our fault, WE should have requested smaller slats (website says large kennel, not large dogs and no specs given for slats).Bolt at rear was different clearance from other side and did not clear hole. After putting them both in one side of the double kennel, we arrived home to find dogs on road, we are one street over from SH1. Thankful we still have dogs! Damel says this is also our fault as kennel on grass, not on concrete pad.ALSO water trough adjustment holes too small to adjust after galvanising, had to be drilled out again, no explanation or admission of fault by them. We are experienced qualified tradespeople who know poor quality control when we see it. We relied on the rave reviews about these kennels, could have been so good. Really really disappointed and do not recommend.

Absolutely amazing company with an awesome product! We had very particular custom requirements in order to suit our dogs needs and the facilities needs - these guys did an outstanding job figuring out what aas required and in record time. We have recomended these kennels through our business and will continue to do so. Communication was excellent also.

Highly recommendNot the cheapest but certainly the best kennels on the NZ market .Plenty of room , roof covered all the way and insulatedThey go well with a canvas covered woollen dog mattressOur heading dogs and kelpies love their homes
