The Caker
Came across The Caker on IG and found their flavours intriguing so I decided to give one of their cakes a go. I have been obsessed ever since! I just knew I had to try all the flavours. Best believe I kept myself busy baking their cake kits through lockdown too. Wasn't good for my waist size but no regrets. Can't express how much I love these guys. So much that I had a wedding cake and a cake banquet for my wedding! Eli you're a star ❤

We always enjoyed The Caker cakes, so we asked The Caker to make our wedding cake too and as usual, it didn't disappoint us! Picking the 3 flavours for our 3-tiered wedding cake was the most difficult part! Thank you for catering all our dietary requirements of our guests, no one missed out, whether they were vegan or gluten free. Thanks again for all your work!

The Caker was an amazing choice for our fully gluten free wedding cake banquet. We opted for a small 2-tier cake with mini cakes and baby cakes and we couldn't be more pleased. We got tasters from them and couldn't decide on the flavour so got to have 4. They were: Lemon Raspberry, Rose Rhubarb, Black Forrest and Chocolate Strawberry (also naturally vegan). They packaged the cakes for their trip from Auckland to the Waikato and gave full transport instructions and tips. Thank you Eli & team xxx

Beautiful cake for my son’s birthday. Price was good. Got the chocolate banana one. Not as sweet as I would like it. But these cakes are way better than super market cakes. I think the texture is great for birthday and wedding cakes. Not like 5 star restaurant dessert cakes. I was gifted a cake kit and have been hooked ever since. Their cake kits are absolutely amazing and have never failed me. I've tried almost all of their cake kits (haven't tried the new banana one yet).Recently ordered a black forest cake for a birthday and picked it up from the store. Beautiful cake, was a bit on the dense side but still a fantastic cake. None of the cakes have ever been overly sweet, always balanced just right.Highly recommend getting their cake kits and trying a few of their cakes. Will definitely be buying more cake kits soon!

I ordered a cake for my birthday with a few specific details e.g coloring and décor. They were followed and displayed most beautifully. It was also vegan, I will say that it tasted so good you could barely tell. This is the second year I have bought a cake from here for my birthday and I most definitely will be returning again next year!

Ordered a vegan wedding cake that was also gluten free as it was for a celiac. Based on past gluten free cakes we tried we weren't expecting it to be amazing. But holy hell it was quite possibly the best cake I've ever had. Certainly a contender for top spot. Incredibly moist. Sweet but not over the top. So soft and fluffy I wouldn't have ever thought it was gluten free if I didn't already know. Amazing cakes!

We ordered a two tier (one GF and one regular) lemon raspberry cake for our wedding of 60 guests. The pick up was easy and everyone was friendly. The box was perfectly sized to fit behind the passenger seat of the car and was packed well enough to survive an hour long drive.Everyone enjoyed the cake thoroughly and I was lucky enough that there was cake leftover so I could have more in the following days. Thanks to Eli for all the help leading up to the day.
