Wow what a friendy supermarket heading back again soon

We wanted to buy some beer it was 1/4 to 10 told unable to sell alcohol until 10 as it was a Council rule.

I still have to work and that requires 'existing' in Auckland to acheieve that; however, I 'live' in Mahia.What a nice surprise yesterday rolling into town to do the shopping to find this bright spark of a store open, abundant and trading!My background is grocery and grocery management and to this end I am critical yet objective.The new store is wonderful and not only that it has that feeling only a retailer knows when one walks into a store; it is a warm fuzzy and it is achieved through engaged staff and a well merchandised offer.I was so impressed.No self check outs! How wonderful!Staff were (as always) polite and friendly and I know I look like an alien to the locals.I always shop local and wait until I get home before shopping for the needs to take out to the peninsula; I will be back on Wednesday for more!Congratulations, staff, managers and owners on a very credible addition ot the community.

Very helpful staff, and if they didn't know where the item was, they would get someone that did and they would stay with you till you found it.Thanks New World Wairoa
