Clayton is the best source of knowledge of timber maintenance, care and longevity that I have ever come across. With his 40 years experience in the trade in NZ conditions he gave us sound advice and which products to use which we confidently rely on due to his extensive experience and solidly integral reputation. He also does not have any product affiliation so we can rely on what he says we should use is in fact the best stuff for the job.

Clayton is someone you can communicate with and understand very easily. His attention to details and listening ability was very apparent the very first day we met for coffee in Jack's Point. From then on, we knew we wanted Clayton for the job. What a fantastic job he did painting the interior of our house in Lake Hayes Estate. Clayton and his team are consummate professionals. Nothing was a problem. We have a 2 story 320sqm home in Jacks Point that had issues with the oil/stain that had been applied by the previous owners. The old stain was totally removed and new stain that was appropriate for the wood’s potential mould and UV requirements was applied. We now have oil/stain protection and also the look that befits the stature of the property.

Clayton and his team were amazing, from the initial meeting to the turn around of the quote and then the physical work was only a few weeks. he managed to squeeze me in before winter and even though we had a wet day cause some delays he still managed to get in and get us sorted. I especially love the fact that he has a maintenance system and will get in touch with me when I need a touch up instead of me having to keep track. Cant recommend these guys enough.

I called Clayton because our sheets were getting stain on them from the fence (stained by others). Clayton came around in 10 minutes and proceeded to give me a very informative lesson on different types of stain. He then suggested I could just wash the fence as a temporary fix, saving me significant money.I will definitely be calling Clayton in the spring when it is time to reassess our house stain.
