Classique Lodge Motel

An average place to stay. It was not serviced every day... so we had 2 teabags, 2 coffee and 4 sugars.... and 2 small rolls loo paper. So I had to ask a couple of times to get some things. It did not smell. Loved the shower pressure and security locks on some windows (1 out of 15 places with security locks). It was clean to look at but needed a deeper clean. The beds were ok to sleep in. Free parking with trailer (we loved) and free wifi (kids loved). Sky TV... but not movies. The hosts were friendly and nice. Central. The Warehouse is opposite... so went shopping at 9 pm!! Even live entertainment from one of the neighbours yelling match. Not the worse... but not the best.

Stay was bearable . The room did not look like the pictures at all but basic necessities were met. Furniture was tired and worn out, with a random bed placed in the living room. We were late for check in but receptionist was kind enough to bring us to our room and provided milk in the fridge. Stovetop was dirty, shower head was rusty. Bedsheets had stains. However the wifi was working well. Room appeared very dark. Overall stay was not what we had expected and items such as hair dryers could be provided/added.

It's alright, you get what you pay for. Very small heater provided, room smelled a bit, but the single beds are very very comfortable.

The motel was good but kitchen was in need of a deep clean bathroom was mouldy in need of a clean. The very untidy gardens are not representative of garden city or images advertised clearly pictures online are very old. Also was very strange had no contact with staff just a txt saying my key was in my room Yes the price was good but would be more popular if given some care to the property

Nice motel with comfortable beds. Owners working through units and updating. We stayed in #9 still work to do but ok

Arrived late but had instructions. Room was okay but kitchen and bathroom tired . Oven hadn't been cleaned. Tap fell off when I went to use it. Also concerned about extension cords around the room.

Absolutely disgusting. Stains on carpet. Cobwebs everywhere. Soap wrapper left in dirty shower. Windows dirty. Place mats stuck together with food. Don't go there.

This room did not look like the pictures. Visible dust on the furniture, ripped up couches, no headboard on the bed, and the room smelled worse than if it was hired out exclusively by men who are trying to hide their cigarette addictions from their wives to whom they had sworn they had quit. This smell made my partner want to vomit after only a couple of minutes of being there.We had already payed online but upon arrival decided the place was so bad that we had to cut our losses and book in at another motel that looked clean and didn't smell.Close-ish to Westfield Riccarton and we were offered a free box of Fijoas.

The motel is good. Room was clean and tidy.It is a bit old, specially the shower.Their rates are very competitive and they are inside the city not far from the center.

This was our go to motel and we decided after my last review to give it another go but sadly once again we have been disappointed. The state of the shower leaves something to be desired, the towels should be used for cleaning and not for customers and no facecloths, very limited toilet paper.
