Bruce Sheppard is an exceptional human being who I had the good fortune to meet 34 years ago when he set Grey Power up with office space in the Smith & Caughey Bldg out of his own goodwill and I was part of championing that cause.He has provided invaluable guidance and advice and helped me and my family tremendously over these years. Bruce’s wealth of knowledge and in particular his expertise in negotiation is spectacular and unmatched.Throughout these years he has been instrumental in helping me navigate through complex financial, legal and moreover, personal situations and delivered outstanding results in a matter of days, where other professionals had put me in the too hard basket and left it to drag on years.What sets Bruce apart from others is all dealings are done with a wonderful sense of humour and intuitive understanding.Achieving a significant financial outcome for me came with a wide range of emotions such as relief, sadness, joy, nostalgia and gratitude.He is remarkable and rare and not surprisingly a recipient of a New Zealand Order of Merit.But what truly sets Bruce apart is his genuine care for people. He is empathetic, patient, and has a natural ability to explain complex financial concepts in a way that makes it easy for others to understand and get-on-board with, thereby accomplishing outcomes I only dreamed about.Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about him.
