The pub itself looks great, but my friends and I felt really uncomfortable in the space. The bar maid served our first round of drinks and then walked around the back of the bar, so it felt a bit weird being left in the bar alone.

We left our run a bit late finding a restaurant on a Thursday night on Waiheke. We stumbled across Malones who were winding down for the night. My wife is Keto and they went above and beyond to make her a keto meal that wasn't on the menu! Definitely worth stopping in for a Guinness, friendly smile and great service!

Had the best night out at this local bar... staff are rare they look after you and go out of their way to make sure you leave safely. Prices are reasonable considering the island reputation of being pricey. Get in before 10 otherwise their is a door charge but would pay regardless for the awesome DJs and atmosphere as well as their the latest open in the island. Would highly recommend to all my friends and so on.

Menu was minimal, bar person, (possibly the owner) was rude and unfriendly. On arival she said to us, I will be with you shortly. But we watched her check her mobie phone. no honey you finish your text

Omg - if you’re going to close early, update the time on Google. Time and time again I try to bring people to your pub and I get met by an angry owner with an abrupt ‘no, we’re closed’! Just sort your opening hours on Google and stop being such a strop when people arrive after paying money on waiheke taxis to get to you and then be turned away after trying to spend money with you! It’s infuriating!!!!!!!!!

Great little Irish pub. And the only place on the Island still open after 10pm it seems. Was great they were still serving food and the chips were excellent (and I'm pretty sure that wasn't just because of the 4 Guinness I'd already had.)
