This place is amazing I was in awe the whole time truly takes you back in time. They everything from toys, old computers and radios. All the machines, cars and planes. Truly a must visit in wanaka.

Great collection with everything from toy figurines to old typewriters, bicycles to jet aircraft. Something for everyone and could spend ages looking at everything. 90% of the collection is inside several buildings but there's also a few larger pieces outside on display. Didn't check out the cafe but the shop area has a lot of toys on sale.

There's something for everyone in their collection of toys and vehicles. The backs of the trucks outside had some of the best stuff, so be sure to check them out. It is possible to go inside some exhibits. The variety is amazing and there are so many hidden gems. Pedal cars are also available for you to try.

What a treasure trove, something for all the family to enjoy. Certainly nostalgic - brings back many memories. Good value. Give yourself at least 3-4 hrs.

Amazing collection of all things cars and toys. Very large collection worth checking out. I still can't believe it was one guy collection. The lady at the desk was a bit dismissive and didn't provide good customer service when I asked a simple question hence the 4 stars. It's $20/adult and /$5 per child there is also a family rate.

Sooo many things to see here. Buckle in for a trip through the past and some sensory overload. Vast collections of toy, cars, trucks, odds and ends plus much much more. Plan some time as it takes awhile to go through all the buildings. Definitely explore the outside collections and purchase a toy or two to take home.

This place is Ridiculous!! So amazing to see all the collections. Cannot recommend highly enough. It is not possible for me to convey in words just how amazing this collection is. Not just transport and toys.

The Wanaka Toy and Car Museum is an amazing place. There are so many classic cars, trucks and toys. You think you have seen it all and there is yet another building full of old vehicles. There are a number of aeroplanes too. Amongst the toys were a lot of model cars, Barbies and Lego.A word of warning: My wife was following me round but she was getting rather weary by the end of it.Well recommended for those interested in cars.

It's an interesting collection of stuff, a lot of stuff!Yes, it could be better curated, but it was interesting regardless. For anyone over the age of 30, there will be something of nostalgic interest, for me, the huge collection of sylvanian families.You can spend as long as you like wandering and admiring.

Great place I think we spent two hours walking around in awe, great for kids big and small, massive Lego collections , cars and some planes and jets absolutely worth checking out, admission is very reasonable
