Very helpful, friendly staff!!Great range of Alps to Ocean Tee Shirts, Caps, wrist bands. Plus other souvenirs. Do your self a favour and have a ride on the penny farthing!!

Staff here were lovely however I wasn't allowed to store my luggage here as I 'might be a terrorist'. Which meant I had to taxi to my hotel before check in time to drop off my luggage, taxi back into town, then taxi back to the hotel at check in time. A costly inconvenience. While the idea that Timaru would present an attractive target for terrorists is laughable, I had mistakenly thought this was an I-site (which let me store my luggage all over the country) and understand they have their own policies. I dare say this one is not attractive to travellers however and certainly puts me off returning.

Everything was fine when a friendly lady booked a tour for us. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled the day after due to bad weather. We went back to get our refund. They kept 10% of the original price (+ $4 booking fee + 1% credit card fee). So we spent $70 for nothing. Thanks for not informing costumers about things like that before. Doesn't matter if there is a piece of paper with terms and conditions which you get with the booking confirmation. It's too late than.
