We were lucky enough to have Josh and his DJTeam from Mixmaster play at our Engagement and Wedding.They are great at keeping the dance floor pumping, no fuss or hassle, bringing all their own equipment and are so knowledgeable you know you are in good hands!We still have people raving about our Celebrations and highly recommend them for any and ALL occasions, esp your special day!!!! Thank you Josh and his DJTeam for making our nights so amazing!!!

We were extremely impressed with our mixmaster experience. Josh was great in the lead up and passed on all our special songs to the DJ we had. DJ Vee at our wedding on Friday night (7/4/23) was incredible. We couldn’t fault him, he played all the right songs and kept just about the whole wedding on the dance floor the WHOLE night.Thanks so much guys, we will happily recommend you to anyone planning a wedding

We had DJ Ben from mixmaster at our wedding Jan 2023 in Martinborough. He was the BEST! 2 of my friends have already booked him for their upcoming weddings. People were literally on the D-floor from first dance to finish. (For reference we said we were into pop, 90’s hip hop/RnB and classic hits and he nailed it). So many comments from guests how good he was too.

We had the Mixmaster team look after DJing our wedding. Josh was great to deal with in the lead up to the wedding. He helped us through coordinating the music with the programme as well as what different playlist / songs we needed. Brent was our DJ on the day and provided an awesome experience for us and our guests. We had an absolute blast with plenty of dancing and singing to round off an incredible day. Would definitely book these guys again for another event.

10/10 recommend Josh and the Mixmaster team. We had initially elected a reception-only package for our wedding day, but our plans for the ceremony fell apart within the week of the big day. Josh jumped in at the last minute, was super available and accomodating and was focussed on reducing our stress completely. On the big day we received phenomenal service. Josh kept the dance floor full the whole night and the quality of the DJ service is something the many guests have commented on since the big day. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we received.

We had an epic night partying at our wedding in late November. DJ Ken K was a late call in after Josh got covid 3 days before our wedding but did incredibly well with not much time to prepare and we enjoyed it so much.Totally professional and awesome experience with Josh and the teamWould highly recommendCheers Alice and Thomas

Josh from Mixmaster was absolutely incredible from beginning to end and we are so grateful we were able to secure his services for our wedding day!His communication from the get go, answering all our questions and organising Brent (10/10 DJ!) to do his thang at our rehearsal and wedding, he truly went above and beyond for us.Brent was absolutely exceptional. The whole experience was stress free, and during the day and night he had everyone up and dancing! We had so many of our guest's approach us and tell us how brilliant Brent was, he truly made the day one to remember and we can't thank him enough!If you are thinking of booking in Mixmaster’s services for your big day, think no more, they're the way to go!

Jenny & Craig’s Wedding – 18/02/2023, HamiltonGetting Josh and his DJ Pete to look after our music for the wedding was the best decision we made! Our wedding was delayed a year due to Covid, yet Josh and the team stuck by us and reassured us they were locked in for our new date! Our instructions to Josh early on were pretty clear, we really just wanted a good ole party! No fancy stuff, just good music & dancing with our friends & family. Being an organised Bride, we gave Josh a bit of a list of our favourite songs so he understood the genre we wanted to play and you could see the excitement in his face as he knew he could make it happen, it was going to be a great night, “leave it with me” he said.And boy did they not disappoint! Josh was struck with sickness the week leading up to our big day, so Pete was rung in at short notice to take the lead, obviously I was a bit nervous as we had built up a relationship with Josh for 2 years, but he assured me Pete would be the perfect man for the job and he nailed it!! He read the crowd so well, quieter music during dinner/mingling, then ramped up the music over the night as guests hit the D floor. He even had my mum & aunty up dancing which kept the guests entertained to say the least! We danced to the very end, sore feet, no voice but that’s a sign of a good party and that’s exactly what we wanted, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Nothing was ever a problem, very professional, great communication, reasonably priced and just all-round good blocks who lived and breathed music & creating awesome events. Would definitely recommend Josh (and Pete our DJ!) for any event, don’t hesitate to get in touch, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks guys we had the best night!
