Secure Parking - The Chancery Basement Car Park

Break in today, left passenger window smashed. This carpark is not safe anymore. Used it for years. Auckland city is not as safe as it was too. What a shame. My lovely birthday day ruined...

Parked here daily between August-October 2022. I did the usual early bird payment online, wrote in my number plate and all is fine. They finally implemented the new plate recognition cameras one day and I drove in with my personalised black plates and the camera system didn't recognise my black number plates (all other places I've been to using the same system can recognise my plates). The parking attendant told me to just grab a ticket and they will open the boom arm for me to leave at the end of the day.I came back at 5 after work to leave and no one was in the office, I called the support line, they were able to find my early bird payment and they were able to confirm my number plates from their camera system by calling another team. After half an hour, they made me pay again despite being able to confirm all my details and confirm my payment. The staff either lacked training or deliberately did everything slow and wasted my time so that they would not have to take as many calls. They told me I can get refunded if I sent them an email explaining the situation again to them. I've already wasted half an hour being tossed around just to pay twice to park there and they want to waste more of my time to get my money back because of their incompetent staff and cheap number plate recognition system that doesn't even work.I didn't bother emailing to get a refund, if the staff member on the phone was that clueless about her job and their systems, I wonder how long it'd take the people working the emails to work on my refund. I've just decided to never use this carpark again. Waste my time, waste my money and you've lost yourself a customer.All my colleagues also no longer use this car park due to poor experiences with incompetent parking attendants, fear for their safety within the carpark and multiple break ins/malicious damage to their vehicle. There are more trustworthy carparks and safer carparks in the area for the same price.

Today the left side window of our car was broken and they stole my partner's sunglass. We parked here around 8:20-8:30am and came back around 5:40, then we found this. We called the customer service and initially they said they can't do anything until my partner got mad and then they send someone to help us clean/removed the brokend window.Clearly this is not a secured parking at all. We already filed a police report and we would like to file a complaint against this company!

Break in today! Parked on secure lower level as always but someone smashed left passenger window. Seems like this carpark is not secure anymore. Such a shame as we used it for years.

I used to park here all the time. But now the price listed is different to what you actually pay. The email is not valid. 2 stars still waiting for their confirmation abt price difference

Been using the car park for two years. Today got a ticket for an infringement for parking in a non designated area which was open and not cordoned off. How was I supposed to know this was not available with the cordons lifted. Rather than checking with me, I get a fine. As of now I am looking at parking elsewhere. A colleague had her car smashed as well. Quick to give tickets but not secure at all! Poorly managed. At times, the entry screen does not work as well! Pricey and not clean either!

Charged $10 over the overnight rate. I parked here after I missed the entrance to the Victoria car park which was significantly more reasonable. I figured a $23.50 overnight rate was okay and you can leave from 6 AM to 12 PM. I was dismayed to find I was being charged $33.50 despite entering around 7PM and leaving well before 12PM. I could have gotten valet parking at my hotel for $38. Such a joke. Also the parking ramp has random pillars everywhere (not just around the parking spaces) meaning you have to make awkward maneuvers around them. Terrible. Absolutely do not park here.

If I could give zero stars I would, no customer service they issued a brench notice when I have paid clearly on my bank statement, try and appeal it based in AUD just get given the run about, get hang up on by overseas call centre. I just ended up paying the $60 and won't park there again did park twice a week

DO NOT PARK HERE. I used to recommend this carpark to everyone and then they charged me the hourly rate ($54) instead of early bird ($17) twice this week. Thankfully I noticed and rang and the guy on the phone gave no explanation why. Now I'm waiting for a refund that could take days. Not good enough, still no explanation and a half passed apology and now I'm out $74 until they refund finally comes through.UPDATE: I was originally told the refund would come through in 3 days and just called after it didn't arrive and am now being told 10 working days because they're processing so many refunds. DO NOT PARK HEREOver 3 months later and I've only received half of the refund, I still owed $38

Easy booking via their website. Good rates for after 5pm ($11 cap). Secure parking and well-lit. Pretty smooth process overall.
