Excellent service! I am in Christchurch and I ordered a Carrot Cake last minute a day before my Dad's Birthday. He is up in Auckland and they managed to get it delivered on time for his birthday today! It was beautifully wrapped with a bow too. Thank you so much :)

Received a small chocolate cake for my birthday from the wife and kids. Absolutely divine! Exceptionally moist cake, great ganache-style icing. Definitely better than the larger cakeshop chains.

Soooo..just had to leave a review. My work place ordered the small chocolate cake - just want to comment how absolutely dry it is. Felt like I was eating spongecake instead! We had expected something a bit impressive or at least have that moistness of a cake however we had the dryness of a Sahara Desert instead. Dont waste your money ordering this - you can get your money elsewhere that is worth it. thanks

Not even deserving one star. Received as a gift the lemon layer cake. Easily the worst tasting cake I’ve ever eaten in my life.the cream icing was so thick n tasted weird while the cake was unbearably sweet. Just had to toss it into the compost heap. A really good service but please improve your recipes.

I ordered chocolate cake (150 pre-cut pieces) for an event. Reached home directly from the shop (30 mins drive) and checked the cake and was absolutely disappointed. The cake was so dry and easily one of the worst I’ve had in recent times! We were in a dilemma to serve it to 125 guests. But we had no choice last minute, we served it to our guests only to find out there were egg shells in the cake. When I called back and provided feedback, the person at the shop kept stating that the cake was moist when she cut into pieces before my pickup time. Just to prove my point, I went back to the store with a box of leftover cake (with few pieces of egg shell on it). No apologies, no acceptance, no comments on the egg shell. But did refund 50% of my bill when I returned one box of cake out of the 4 we bought. I do understand mistakes happen, but own it, correct it and do better next time for a better customer service. My order may be one of many orders and not be significant for you but it was a very important event and memory for us as we celebrate a special day in the family! Once used to be a good place for cakes, not anymore!
