Customer Service A+Product A+Value A+I purchased a 'Steam Stopper' for my shower cubicle. Not only the product & price is great but the customer service is absolutely top notch. Despite their policy of being closed for business on the weekend, they made sure the product was installed by nobody else but the team of father & son, the owners themselves, in the weekend.I was so impressed by their customer service & workmanship that I have ordered 6 corner glass shelves to be installed in the bathroom. Watch this space for another feedback!!

Absolute Nightmare... Do Not Recommend this company!We would not recommend Bathroom Direct to anyone looking for a quality bathroom makeover.We chose to have Bathroom Direct manage our bathroom renovation to save us having to manage the project ourselves and accepted that we would pay a premium for this service, a premium price for a premium quality product. In the end, we don't believe we received value for our money and the time we spent chasing up serious issues during and after the installation of our bathroom could have been better spent managing the project ourselves with some considerable saving. It was clear at the beginning that the BD project manager [staffmember] was completely out of his depth, with very poor communication… The BD plumbers apprentice was left on his own unsupervised to plumb the bathroom while the plumber was on holiday overseas.The bath mixer had to be replumbed 4 times due to a) bath mixer/spout back to front, b) mixer set back too far in wall so you could not use the tap, c) the square shaped mixer was not square so it come out of the wall on an angle, the tapware was also scratched so had to be replaced. Consequently, the gib & waterproofing in the area no longer exists at all, just a tile covering the wall cavity!The same issues presented for the shower mixer, this time they had to access the mixer from the hallway, yes they had to cut a hole in the hallway for access…Shower mixer issues… a) the square shaped mixer was not square so it come out of the wall on an angle, b) in an attempt to fix the angle the plumber used a pipe wrench that left teeth marks that removed the plating off the mixer, c) The mixer was replaced & upon inspection before the gib in the hall was replaced we found the new shower mixer was held in place by silicon only, not screwed to any nog or timber framing! After having the plumber back 4 times to rectify the issue we elected to use our own plumber at our own cost to put it right.Sadly, there were a number of other issues with the bathroom which left us seriously unimpressed with the level of service from the team at Bathroom Direct. The first Project Manager left part way through the project & another Project Manager arrived on the scene to sort out the mess. Things went from bad to worse, clearly, we were not the only ones with problems as he advised he was faced with these issues all over Auckland. We were advised we either accept it the way it was or they would walk away, which they did. We were shocked & dismayed, this was 2 weeks before Christmas & he was now demanding acceptance of the substandard work & the final payment before tradesmen returned. The contract was not worth the paper it was written on... final payment was due on practical completion, not before. To demand payment before practical completion was clearly outside of the terms of the contract written by BD themselves... absolute nightmare... our advice, shop around… paying a premium price (BD were the most expensive BTW) does not mean a premium product… no electrical code of compliance issued, no producer statements from the plumber or waterproofer, no final inspection… just take the money & run…

If I could give this company a negative 5 I would.I wasn't going to write a review but this needs to be said .we contacterd this company to make us a shower liner last year as our bathroom walls were not straight and they could make a shower liner to our measurements ( they will not come out and measure) and to install our glass shower blade which we supplied.The installer came out and did not do a dry run ( meaning checking that it fits ) I helped him to carry through the house as it was covered in glue.It seemed to be quite short and we both tried to fit it .He then said the only way to get the liner out of the house was to cut the $1000 liner up with out making a mess .Once he took it outside he admitted that he had tried to install it upside down .Which I thought it was on them to make a new one.So they sent an older gentleman round to check it out .He then proceeded to say we gave them the wrong measurements. When we tried to discuss this he was talking over us and got louder and rude .we eventually got his measurements of what he thought it should be .Luckily my wife had taken a photo of the measurements we had given BATHROOM DIRECT and showed this to this man with bullying behavior as it was the same measurements he got.He then said it was never going to fit and would not discuss it .We told him to leave the house .We could of taken this to the disputes court but then that is a added stress in life.We were not refunded ( even for the shower blade install that we had paid for up front) in our book that is theft and never use this rogues .

Dealing with Bathroom Direct was a pleasure. From the initial contact, through to design and project management the staff were friendly, helpful and professional in every respect. Due to a previous water leak issue our bathroom had to be completely stripped. The entire renovation from demolition to painting was managed by Bathroom Direct and we found that their communication and advice throughout was excellent. Highly recommended.

Bought over $2000 worth of bathroom stuff from them. Have some problems with one product. Tried to call them up and ask what I need to get it exchanged. The receptionist and the support staff were laughing at me because they said they don't understand what I was talking about. If you cannot tell the differences between bath tap and bath tub, perhaps you should not work in there. Really bad experience with their staff's attitude, gave the impression that they are racists. Will not go back to them again in the future. This shop is not recommended for anyone to go. If you cannot treat your customer as a valued customer, you should simply close down and leave the business to others who treat people with respect!

Amazing customer service - both pre- and after-sales. We had an issue with the shower (not their fault) yet they were super helpful and sorted the issue for free. Their bathroomware is also very reasonably priced and good quality. I was highly impressed and will definitely use these guys again for my next renovation. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to send this email to you and the team, to say BIG thank you for the job that was recently completed.Les as Project Manager kept us updated as to what was to happen and it was delivered as agreed, and to a high standard.Although we did have a couple of small issues, that were again resolved very quickly.Richard was good to work with and he was very professional in his work methods and left the site as tidy as possible at the end of the day, which was very much appreciated. He also very approachable and offered me some guidance as to what he was planning to do at various stages of the process.Although I have expressed our sincere thanks to Les & Richard directly, this note to you is further confirmation of our pleasure with the job done, right from the initial discussions, to your plans drawn up and to the completed job.When we decide to do our main bathroom, we will definitely keep you and the team in mind, as the first point of call to start that renovation discussion
