The Clean Car Wash Dunedin

Multiple times I have been here and there is no soap in the soap wash. Just plain water.So I know its not just a one off.Place and equipment could do with a major upgrade.Sorry but will not be returning for the foreseeable future

It's okay, does the job. Not cheap though. About 50 sec per $1. Never seen a staff on Saturday, so bring cash (bank notes). The change machine works but it dispenses more $2 coins than $1.Some tips: (1) Prepare a handful of $1 coins if possible. Imagine needing just another 30 sec but all you got is $2 coins. (2) Bring your own brush/mop. Use bubble wash brush to dispense soap only ($2-3 should be enough). The brush head rotates so not great for cleaning. (3) Don't use all functions, will cost around $20. Just use what you need. $10 should be enough for basic bubble wash and rinse, possibly costs around $7-10 depending on size and how dirty the car is.

My cars get cleaned when I visit Dunedin because then I get to use this place. Top results even if the equipment is getting a bit tatty.

Good for cleaning your car etc but for the price you pay you don't get long $2 for 2 minutes isn't long enough to wash a 4wd

the soapy hose function did not work as I think the machine was empty. only the brush worked but that was terrible, but I had already come all the way into town to wash so I got to it, I spent an embarrassing amount of money to get a very mediocre clean, no receipt was given so I cannot prove this. I think I came when the soaps were empty, not impressed as whoever closed up the office for the day did not check the reservoirs so now I'm out a bunch of cash. convenience was great but equipment was terrible

Used the automatic wash and had some issues. Put $20 in the machine for a $17 wash, but no change could be given. Advised to keep receipt, but receipts aren't able to be printed. Seemed like a scam to me... Additionally, the wash was disappointing. Still had dust on the boot of the car after it had finished (not mud, just dust). Will not use again as there was no staff on to address these issues.

The car vacuum get treated pretty rough, but if they are working, its $1 per 2 minutes.

No card service, 300 meters to an atm, spent $2.00 trying to get the pre soak or soap while it ticked down doing nothing.
