The PBT Group - Hamilton

Avoid using this courier if you possibly can. Eight days ago I placed an order with a Taupo firm, who unfortunately sent it with PBT. I live in Hamilton, but still haven't got my order (by now I could have walked to Taupo and back). I've called them twice, but gave up after waiting 25+ minutes both times - making people wait that long shows contempt for the customer. Very poor service.

Terrible customer service, ridiculously long wait times on hold just to be transferred to branches that don't answer, just to be put back on hold at a call centre and have a different confused person answer the phone. Customer service email doesn't respond either. 10 days to get a package from Auckland to Hamilton and tracking says package was in tauranga. Would've been easier to walk up to Auckland and pick up the package.

I have never had such bad service from a courier company. It is all fur coat and no knickers. I asked for a fragile sticker to be placed on the box but this did not happen. The item arrived in broken condition and the force/mishandling required to achieve this damage must have been considerable. When I approached them, they couldn't care less because I was a casual, not an account holder. They were completely disinterested in helping me in any way out of this. Don't bother using this courier company, you will be surely be disappointed if not financially harmed. Rather go to a reputable company who cares for its customers and their goods.

Perishable goods order from Auckland to Hamilton ( clearly marked on box ) - ended up sitting in couriers van for over 28 hours. Went to depot to find out where it was which they were unwilling to call driver for an update. When eventually arrived driver was rude and didn’t care less - no apology. Perishable goods were ruined. Do not use this company. Don’t even want to give then 1 star!!!After I received goods Driver changed date he received the goods for delivery to 1min - so made it look like instead of sitting in his van for over 28 hours he only had for a minute.

-0/10 this is the worst company for both delivery and customer service. parcel was tracking in hamilton depot for delivery, for the past 10 days (only coming from tga) never attempted delivery but said it was delivered to 3 different hamilton depots (there is only 1) and today said it was at an unknown location. have tried to call twice both times on hold for over 40mins and got no where. they couldn’t say where it was. ended up going into pbt and it was right there, lady said oh we were waiting for you to pick this up and all the excuses under the sun about being so busy. no excuse to not pick up your phone and not communicate that my parcel was actually there!! they never called. honestly no idea how this freight company still operates DO NOT USE THEM READ ALL THE REVIEWS THIS IS SHOCKING FOR A BIG COMPANY!! not impressed will do everything to never use this company again

Great service. I had a pallet of boxes to go to Wellington from Cambridge. They did the wrapping for me. It was delivered two days later.

They were unable to deliver my parcel due a problem with my address but when i called them the man i spoke to was very rude and said that it had been handed over to NZ post which was a lie.
