Absolutely floored by their drinks prices. Four tiny - and I mean tiny - kids hot chocolate’s at $6 each. I queried the price and they confirmed that it was correct. The drinks were gone in 2 mouthfuls and they told me that was the price anywhere for a miniature hot chocolate. I almost laughed out loud.Will never return. Outrageous and the drinks were highly average to boot.

This is a cool wee spot, decked out well inside. There was a good selection of food and drink. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff are friendly, the menu is creative. it's a mix of Japanese and NZ cuisine. However, it's a bit pricey. I also recommend putting some pictures on the menu, so that the customers have a better idea of what they are ordering.

I stopped in here after so many recommendations to try . I was not disappointed! The place was humming & all the staffed looked really happy & interacted with all the tables so well. The food was so delicious , beautifully presented, well priced considering the price of everything nowadays , we had the Hāpuka Cheviche , the super fried cauliflower, Alaroa Salmon & wok greens all with divine has made sauces & beautiful flavour !! the cocktails were delicious & music was great ! It’s an independently run restaurant too so another reason to go support. Cannot wait to return.

We had a booking for 9 on Mother's day at 1pm. Place was very busy. At 1.50 they advised food would be 30 minutes and 50 minutes later chips arrived. Main meals followed 10 minutes later. What made it worse was customers who arrived after us received mains before us.Food was really nice and staff were apologetic.May not go back

Favourite Lyttelton/Christchurch restaurant by far. When we lived in Wanaka it was always our first stop for eats when we hit the big smoke - and the last. Now we live here and are super proud to have this be our local.

Great place. Fantastic atmosphere and brilliant service. But lets talk food.... wow.. had the cauliflower and pork belly. Totally amazing. Worth the trip through the hill to visit.
