My son was at BIGAIR for a year and loved it so much. The free running class was really good for his confidence, balance and strengthening. The coaching staff were very encouraging, when he attempted new excercises. Highly recommend!

My review is for the cheer leading activity that this gym offers, only. Whilst my daughter enjoyed her time with the cheer leading squad, we parents didn't enjoy the 'passive aggressive' tone of the BigAir coaches and managers in their communications. We felt pressured into attending all the cheer competitions which were hosted around New Zealand which carried a high price in travel and accommodation. This pressure was being applied in their communications without any regard for financial pressures which we were experiencing at those competition times.If you sign-up, you must attend all the competitions or face being told off!P.S. always check the small print, these guys will charge you if you leave the cheer squad early. Flippin nasty.

Would not recommend for parents of toddlers. Would be suitable for much older children with better cognitive abilty and reasoning skills. It was my first time attending (my son had been before) and there was no guidance or signage to tell us where to go (its very difficult to work out where the door to even enter is and the office is locked). The coaches were aggressive and lacking compassion. We ended up leaving in the very short time frame between 9.50am and 10am when the class started. If you do go - only head in after 10am as the classes are completely back to back and your toddler wont be able to head straight on to the mats. In the chaos we lost our clip card and no assistance was given to help find it. Really really disappointed as this would have been fabulous for our active, strong son.

The owners of Big Air are some of the most trustworthy and dedicated people I know. The growth of the gym over the years that they've been running it is testament to their hard work and passion for the success of the athletes. The dedication to the kids that attend is amazing.

We have been with bigair gym now for over 5 years. It has been a fabulous experience for our son. The coaches have been responsible and responsive helping to develop not only his skills but also getting alongside and growing his character… mark has been amazing. We have only had timely and considerate communication especially in such a difficult COVID space. Bigair is a wonderful gym, excellent management and a supportive environment for any child. They offer such a wide range of classes for any level.

really great! I went there for about 8 years then stopped but I'm thinking about starting there again! The holiday program is also great but if you don't know how to do cheerleading/tumbling I suggest you start here!

My girls have been cheerleading at Bigair since 2017.Bigair management and the girls coaches have always been supportive of them and their teams.What I like best about Bigair is they actually  care about their students well being.Not only do they have fun and make good  friends they are also gaining life skills and learning about what it means to be a member of team. This is a fantastic life skill to have.Bigair communication is always clear and we are given plenty of notice about the competition schedule as a handbook is given out at the start of each year and clearly identifies everything parents need to know and what the students and parents are signing up for to be part of a competitive cheerleading team.I highly recommend Bigair!
