Did these guys rip off Soul Shack? I don't get it...there must be some beef there, because Soul Shack used to service the bar next to their original retail shop in Manners, which became Heartbreaker Chicken, then heartbreaker got a Newtown store?. This place is worse and more expensive. Go to Soul Shack instead, they are better IMO and more bang for buck.

Old review: Great value. A better version of soul shack.New, updated review: I have had to update my review. This place is no longer great value at all, but the total opposite. I understand inflation has led to price increases but the portions have gotten much smaller too. Their thighs" are more like popcorn chicken size (attached picture of size; 3 of these and some fries will set you back $26 dollars). Unfortunately

Ordered from here through Uber. The flavour wasn't bad (medium spicy was pretty mild) but the miserly piece of chicken on the $15 burger didn't even cover half the bun! Fries were cold and cardboardy but you take your chances on those with delivery.

Used to be a great little shop, however they skimped out on my last meal giving me like half a thigh in my thighs and fries as opposed to the usual two thighs. Would love to see a bit more effort but for now, 2 stars.

Heartbreaker - Nashville Style Hot Chicken
Decided to bypass other nearby chicken options to try out Heartbreaker - and since i was pushing the boat out anyway I opted for a hot Heartbreaker burger. This is always a risk but I find that the hot option pays off more often than it misses. I’m glad I did because the sauce had a hefty kick that I would have regretted missing if I had skimped out on the medium heat.Tender chicken, strong cheese and crunchy pickles rounded out the package nicely. Highly recommended!

Birdcage serves Heartbreaker food in their restaurant. Food was unreal! My favourite was the chicken thighs and chips and the Mac and cheese was delicious! Recommended it to so many of my friends!

I’ve had this place and loved it. However… tonight my chicken was delivered in a different, smaller container. The chipotle mayo was in a different restaurant’s coffee cup??? (My curiosity took over and I tried it- it tasted like spoiled ranch)

Heartbreaker - Nashville Style Hot Chicken
I had just their Heartbreaker burger. Disappointing for their signature burger, it wasn't very big and the chicken was quite thin. The spice blend was quite nice. The buns were strangely cold, even though they had been fried with butter on one side.It was raining when I went, and the selection of seating was poor. The only somewhat clean table had roll your own tobacco and tomato sauce across it...I probably won't go back with so many other fried chicken places nearby...

I order the Uber Eats.The delivery kind of late. I ordered it around 1:30. And I got it in 2:40.I kind of mad at first but when I received the package I only gonna say they are sooooo good and they are sooo nice
