Came in for a birthday brunch this morning, had the most lovely server “Kez”. She was on to it and made sure we were attended to at all times. Couldn’t recommend enough! Cheese scone was delicious

The food options are actually *very* basic - with minimal effort you could literally make the same food at home. Flat white wasn't exactly flat" due to big visible bubbles all over the top. Finally

Love this place.The service is the only lunch service in Wellington that feels is at an international standard. Friendly but quick and proficient.The food is really good and the bread is baked on site throughout the day with what I will say is the best foccacia and the best baguette in Wellington.Stop by for lunch (which comes out quick) or just pop in to pick up some fresh bread.

This is a masterclass on how to run a cafe!The interior is super cool with expansive seating available. We didn’t have any issues getting a table & felt instantly welcome when we were greeted.The staff exude professionalism and absolutely carve up their role in the machine. It was really impressive.Coffee was 10/10, perfectly balanced and made with care. I had the mushrooms which was a generous serving, succulent & a taste sensation. They sat on a piece of grainy bread with a poached egg on top.As a big cafe head, I was stoked to visit Prefab & highly recommend it to those looking for a great meal out.

April 2023First time around and it left a great impression on me. Great balance between healthy and flouvory plates. We both had salads and the ingredients were fresh and tasty, it was perfectly seasoned as well which in a salad, for me, makes all the difference. Loved the side bread too. Definitely would recommend it and would be back for more.*went on a sunny day at lunch time and staff was a little stressed

Late brunch visit. Very busy cafe but didn't have to wait for a seat. Only time we had to wait (for approx 10 minutes) was to order from the lunch menu that begins at 11:30. The food was excellent and definitely worth waiting for. The servers were all very polite, cheerful and informative. Will definitely be visiting again!

I have been going to this place for years, and it’s safe to say that this is a Wellington Institution. Pleasant atmosphere, good food with consistently good coffee is enough reason to visit.
