Warkworth Golf Club

First time playing it, hilly so some challenges for me but a great country club, service at the golf shop was great and it's worth getting there for a round.

A favorite for our group, there are good carts, and the practice range is small but perfectly formed for a quick warm up. Balls available at the proshop. Be prepared for a few hills to start if you walk, but it flattens out about the 7th

Booked and paid for a round for 4 of us last Saturday. Turned up and course was closed. Nothing more than a sign by the pro shop. No call or email to tell us. Waste of a trip for all 4 of us. Definitely wouldn’t book here ever again.

Not family friendly place. Players are not willing to tolerate kids little slow play although golf course are advertised as kid friendly. Not recommended if you are taking your kids with you.

A lovely golf course and friendly staff. The course was in good condition and the clubhouse has a lovely patio from which you can observe the other players and buddies coming in. Well worth the trip from Auckland.

How good is the course looking, if the greenkeeper can tidy up my score card like he has the golf course then PGA, here i come!!... and the ladies in the Divot, extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about the game. Well done all, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Friendly course, not too difficult to look for your ball as many trees has been cut off. A number of hilly holes so getting a cart to share might help. Apart from some annoying ladies members who think they can play slowly because they have a competition, it's a fairly reasonable course. Paying similar price to courses nearer to Auckland for a game, it might not be worth the drive.

Staff- Not friendly staff, short and rude telephone manners. Vibe- local member players generally nice but some are extremely rude and no manner when there were delay, we had yelling rude elderly man, no common sense, flipping off at juniors who were playing golf, not family friendly or supporting juniors playing golf. If you are teaching, don’t go there.Course- make sure they have carts available which we did and they say its not available when we arrived saying having mechanical problems but there were others who were having carts, maybe racist!?!Course itself is hilly , maybe you can say interesting course and well maintained green but maybe not for beginnersWill I return? Probably NOT, they gave a “worst day ever” to junior playersIts ok, there are many other golf clubs you can go to

In good condition given the high rain recently. Sue in the pro shop always meets you with a cheery smile. A super little country course with a lot of variation to test the best

Warkworth golf club is quite an interesting course to play. Well looked after greens too.
