Quick drop-in today to catch the launch of Hayden Paddon's new Kona EV rallycar. Cutting edge tech, created right here in New Zealand. HNZ are passionate supporters of Hayden and his crew and utter professionals, shout out to Tayla on the front desk and the boss, Andy.

Booked a test drive online, which was confirmed by phone on Monday. Two hours before the drive time on the Wednesday get a phone call from the test drive location saying they don't have any of those cars and can only offer a test drive a month later. Very poor communication and something to make a new customer look elsewhere. Two weeks after the reply below - No communication - Useless!

Terrible experience and service. Brand new 2018 Tucson had a complete engine failure even though regularly serviced. Warning to everyone, do not buy Hyundai!

Overpriced! Ioniq 5, nearly 30k more than in Canada, 20k more than Aus and this is after Currancy conversion. I can accept 5-10k due to smaller market and location.Based on how many are sitting on trademe I'd say Kiwis agree. Tesla it is.

Dealing with Hyundai has been atrocious. The car had a manufacturing fault that is considered abnormal and their only advice was to pay for it to be fixed or pay more for an upgrade. Only owned the car for a couple of years and have spent thousands fixing it. Customer service team are of no help. Negligent company. As a reply to the below comment. Hyundai have walked around in loops and only offered us to pay more for a fault of the vehicle that shouldn't exist on a car of this age. The mechanic who took a second look at it said the part was never oiled and shouldn't look the way it does. After offering the specialist advice of the mechanic, Hyundai still turned a blind eye. Don't invest, you will lose so much money on a Hyundai!!

I had full trust in Hyundai vehicles, so much that I shipped by Hyundai car from Australia to NZ when I moved here. As I did in Australia, I got my car serviced at a Hyundai branch in East Tamaki and told them this was my first service in NZ. However, they missed out on updating my WOF and I got a $200 fine only few weeks after getting my car serviced for over $500 for nothing. When I lodged a complaint to the manager, Mike Perez at Hyundai East Tamaki, there was no apology or even efforts to fix my WOF, in fact only efforts made to avoid the responsibility. I have lost faith in Hyundai vehicles and the customer services and will NOT be recommending Hyundai in New Zealand to anybody and ofcourse will NOT be considering Hyundai for my future cars.

I own A Hyundai Venue Elite which I purchased from Ingham Hyundai in Hamilton brand new in December 2020.Today I contacted them to book my car in for a service and was told it was going to cost $450. I was blown away by this cost. I have owned many brand new cars over the years and have never ever paid more than $260 for a full service. As I have told Ingham Hyundai I do tend to change my car every two or three years but if this is what it is going to cost me to have my car fully serviced then I simply will not be buying another Hyundai. The Venue is very under powered, drive very hard on the road , is not comfortable to drive and is very hungry on petrol. Over 9 litres per 100kmSo in summary buying this vehicle has not been a very good experience. I most certainly would not be recommending to anyone to buy a Hyundai because of the reasons I have stated

Bought a Hyundai for the first and last time ever. Getting new spare parts is a mission (second hand available but not ideal given existing track record). My older Camry had hardly any issues than my newer Hyundai, not to mention ease of attaining spare parts. Such a mission now as my Hyundai is grounded waiting for parts - never again am I buying this brand.

What a great place to buy a car from. Not only because the cars are great but because of the great service when buying one. Our guy Alex in Henderson was amazing to deal with through the whole process. If you want an honest reliable opinion about your needs then go have a chat with Alex in Henderson.
