This is a great little place just of the beaten path in Thames. Town center was so busy and I just wanted to sit and have a coffee and snack so riding around I saw the sign pointing to the wharf. Lovely cinnamon date scone and friendly quick service.

We had a family catch up lunch at The Wharf. Exceptional service, fish and chips and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and helpful, fish is fresh, batter is crispy, curly fries to die for, and the sun was out - thanks for a great afternoon

Nice fish and chips. Good selection of hot and cold drinks. A very good stop to coromandel from Auckland

One of the top places to visit in Thames. Enjoyed a well brewed flat white, my kids had icecream and wife got her ice tea. Lovely location with an awesome view from the harbor. Fish and chips seems to be the main stream, heaps of orders from next door fish market. Certainly a mandatory stop when in Thames again.

Great place, friendly service, huge coffees, great views, nice fish n chips from next year. Just as a good cafe/bar should be.

Was quite disappointed in the food at Thames Wholesale Fisheries. Ordered seafood such as battered oysters, squid rings, snapper bartered and crumbed. All the food came out super quick which at first I thought was great, only to open it up to eat and see that it was soggy and undercooked. The batter and breadcrumbs were all falling off the food. A real disappointment. Have been coming here for years. But I’d be reluctant to go back now. Step up your game guys. Used to be outstanding.

Absolutely brilliant. The fish and chips were fresh and the batter excellent. Some of the best I've ever had actually. Excellent staff too. Good beer selection and a fantastic spot to sit outside and relax. Definitely recommend!!

The perfect combination of cafe and bar and fresh fish and chips right by the water at Thames. Summer sucked, so make the most of a great Autumn and enjoy a cafe and bar or mix it up with great cafe coffee or a cold one and enjoy the view while waiting for your buzzer to go off to collect the best fish and chips around. Best experience yet in Thames. Just do it.

Omg the food was beautiful, we had lemon shark to eat, chips, and 4 mussels. Except one complaint I won't be buying mussels in batter again, they were so small it was ridiculous for the price. But the lady behind the counter was hard case and friendly as. We ate our lunch sitting on the wharf under an umbrella. Great place to go for a meal. Go try them out
