Nice food but didn't like the fact the birds flew in and started to eat off the main serving area. I saw this happen a lot whilst I was eating.

The Mission Bay branch of Mexicali is pretty average. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be getting better. Occasionally they've had a different chef who has cooked the good well but last time we went the did had no salt and no flavour. They are nice people though and it's kid friendly and relatively healthy and cheap for a family meal. Ellerslie and K Rd branches offer better versions of the food.

Exceptional and friendly service. My food order was prepared so nicely which added to the overall enjoyment of the food. The taste was fresh & so healthy. I'm hooked on Mexicali Fresh Mission Bay. Today was my first time here. Thank you team MFMB!

made an order online to be delivered through uber eats. paid for the food. a few minutes later we get a message to say one of the items was out of stock. this happened to be only a sauce , which was weird as 2 of the other items had the same sauce and they were fine to be delivered . then it wouldn't let us delete the item or make another selection. a few painful minutes later i decided to call the store to sort this out. 4 times we called and no one picked up. had to cancel the order and still waiting on being refunded. shocking service . ordered from a different Mexican in the same area. food was delivered quickly no issues and we actually discovered it is better than what we usually get from mexacali.

The two staff who greeted me at the door had prepared my meal exactly on time so it was fresh and ready for me as I arrived. Because the nachos were being wrapped in foil, one of the staff placed chips on the guac to stop it from clinging to the foil. This kind of attention to detail and customer care will keep me coming back! Thank you.

The food tested great, my partner and I quite like Mexicali Fresh. We did discover that the proportion is getting smaller. And the staff was very unprofessional, couldn’t remember anything that we ordered or just got it wrong. Very disappointed. Please hire someone who’s better at their jobs.

I went there and ordered something to eat according to the price I was willing to pay but I payed by far much more. The reason: the person who took my order ask me if I wanted guacamole and other stuffs but did not tell me that they would be charged. Bad attitude.

I was really impressed with the portion and the flavours. I ordered a mini burrito; it was much larger than I was expecting and the flavours were great! I'll definitely be eating at Mexicali again.

Loved the fajita veg tacos here. It's a proper dining restaurant which serves mexican food. Located on the main Street at mission bay.

Because of my complicated dietary needs and restrictions, ordering food can be pretty difficult. But the staff understood and handled my order very well, they were kind and respectful.Not to mention how delicious the food is!
