I popped in yesterday to get my engagement ring evaluated. Daniel was clear, quick and thorough. I was cautious of being without my ring, but Daniel was done in about 30mins which was super convenient and even cleaned it.Daniel was referred to me by Carat who I trust, so the recommendation was a valued one.Would definitely recommend Daniel. 12/10

Donald at JVC helped me out with valuations for a set of rings. I got them back in pristine condition with their new valuations that include colour photos. I highly recommend this service.

Shockingly rude man (Donald) refused to help even after (Jacob) said they would and could on the phone, so I made the long drive into the city just to be told it’s too hard for them to value a gemstone! Each stone came with information that I wanted to be confirmed. They were definitely not fake. Was told it could take them hours just to confirm that. I was happy to spend hundreds, possibly thousands to get each gem certified for sale, but Donald did not want my money. Disgusting customer service. I will be spreading the word to avoid using this company. Go to GemLab, much more capable valuers and I am happier to spend my money there.

Excellent experience. Unlike most other valuers, they were happy to return my engagement ring and valuation on the same day I dropped it off, with no extra charge. Fantastic service, very helpful and would definitely recommend. Great value for money.Also, my ring was cleaned beautifully - I forgot how it sparkles. Thank you Daniel!

I would highly recommend this place if you need an independent valuation for insurance purposes or just peace of mind! I had a diamond necklace valued by Jacob and was really impressed with the service and his knowledge. He was very thorough and assessed all aspects of the diamond (cut, color, clarity) in great detail and even explained the written valuation to me when I went back in to collect the necklace. Thanks Jacob!
