Spoonful Catering
Daniel catered for our dinner party Saturday - he did a wonderful job on the food. All guests thought the dishes (canapes, pintxos) were fantastic - but just as important he is a great conversationalist and everyone enjoyed his company.

Dan at Spoonful Catering catered a dinner party for 12 of us and we had such an amazing experience. Dan goes above and beyond. His food combinations are creative and absolutely delicious. He works extremely hard to produce amazing results. He has a lovely calm manner and willing to chat and entertain. It is obvious he is passionate about food and hospitality and has such a wealth of amazing experience to draw on. I cannot recommend Dan enough for what ever occasion you require. He is flexible and your expectations will be exceeded. It was such a privilege, thank you Dan.

Spoonful catered for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of Dan and his team.Dan was so easy to work with, which made for a truly stress free experience.He really listened to, and understood what we wanted to achieve with our wedding menu. Dan delivered not only a delicious, but visually beautiful grazing table. Our compliments to Dan and his team were echoed by so many of our guests.We could not recommend Spoonful highly enough.

We have used Spoonful Catering twice in the last 12 months. Both times the food has been of the highest standard and great value for money. Dan tailored the catering to suit our needs and our budget - we have loved dealing with him - he makes catering for a group very easy and our guests have been blown away by the food and service. Highly recommend.

I just wanted to say thank you to the spoonful team. The food quality was great and delicious, presentation was outstanding, and the service was brilliant. The team did a fantastic job.If you want a “Wow Factor” at your function, then these guys are the ones to use.Five stars is as good as it gets. However, ten stars would be more appropriate.

Dan catered our wedding in in Wellington in July and we honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough.Together with his team at Spoonful -- especially the wait staff who totally nailed it -- he helped made the day and night even better than what we had hoped for.Most importantly the food was just incredible -- there’s been a seemingly endless stream of compliments with everyone wondering how were they able to cook food that good for so many people.Through the coronavirus situation this year our plans changed three or four times with short notice. Dan was not only flexible with all the last minute changes, but he was also very generous with his time, going above and beyond in terms of emails, phone calls and zoom chats to ensure we had the best wedding possible.This included adjustments to the scale of the event, completely re-doing the menu, the staffing requirements and the venue all within a couple of weeks - and with absolutely no stress at all.One other thing that probably summed up the whole experience with Dan (and Spoonful): at the very end of the night, well after he and the team had packed up, we made a last minute request for a few stronger drinks that we hadn’t talked about previously and within about 20 minutes they had it sorted - even driving to get bits and pieces they didn’t have to hand.

Dan and the team at Spoonful catering are a pleasure to deal with and offer some of the best quality and tasting food I have ever experienced. Spoonful provided the catering for a charity fundraising evening I was part of organising and everyone was blown away by the food.

Dan and his team catered a party for us. The food was delicious, plentiful and exactly what we wanted. The wait staff were very professional and lovely to deal with. Everyone one of our guests commented on the food. We highly recommend Spoonful Catering.
